That this won't last past the third episode!

Object Shows have a habit of having extremely short runs. Although some shows do get to complete their run with a small amount of episodes, many others are prematurely cancelled or abandoned by their creators.

  • 5 Secondly Object Show is the mother of all short-runners ending less than a minute after it aired, since its nine episodes had consecutively released five seconds apart from each other. The total runtime is just under five minutes.
  • Only two episodes of After Schooligans were aired as more were planned but were scrapped in the wake of its creator being forced off the internet following allegations regarding racism at the 2022 BFDI + II Meetup.
  • Awesome Futuristic Objects is an object show that ran for six episodes, with its sixth episode only being half-completed, due to lack of motivation and school. When the creator decided to start over with a Soft Reboot as a second season, that lasted way shorter with three episodes, also with a half-completed last episode, for the same reason.
  • Surprisingly averted with Battle for Dream Island Again: it originally ran for only five episodes, staying that way for ten years, but in 2023 it then resumed its run and by 2026 is set to finish with a respectable 25 episodes. IDFB still only has one episode to this day, though.
  • Battle for Grandma: Lasted as a single season with nine episodes although the characters would appear in Sacri's other series.
  • Battle for Object Destination: With three and a half episodes making up the season (BFOD was canned in the midst of the two-parter episode). Its spin-off show Earthquake has it worse with its singular episode before being discontinued in the wake of its creator being forced off the internet after getting caught attempting to groom a minor.
  • Becky Bucket only had one episode before being dropped from a lack of interest.
  • Brawl of the Objects was a classic object show consisting of 14 episodes and an upcoming epilogue. Unlike many other object shows listed here, it managed to successfully conclude its run instead of being Cut Short.
  • Chaotic Ambition had to be cancelled and rebooted after just three episodes due to the creator not liking the direction his object show was going and the drama between him and his friends working on the show. They tried again with a Soft Reboot called Keep Fighting Till The End but that that lasted only two episodes (One of which was an incompleted two-parter) for similar reasons.
  • Cryptic Shadows: UndeadTaylor initially revamped the original pilot but the new series was also canned after its first episode due to both demotivation and wanting to focus on other aspirations.
  • Fight in Flight: Two episodes before the creator's lack of motivation kicked in.
  • I Want In: The show ran up to six episodes, and was leading to its final four until an exposé on daysduzkrak's wrongdoings went out online. This caused the creator to leave the internet and abruptly canned the series.
  • The: Joke: This joke show got abruptly cancelled after its second episode due to controversy surrounding Gery causing him to leave the internet and his other projects for good.
  • After two years in Development Hell, only half an episode of Object Asylum was produced before it was decided to be axed.
  • Mysterious Object Super Show: Cancelled after two episodes in spite of its immense popularity at the time.
  • Object Explosion ran for 3 complete episodes and 1 unfinished episode before being replaced with The Puppet Show starring one of the contestants, Puppet, as the host.
  • Object Filler: The second season, Object Filler Again, had to discontinue production after five episodes due to the creator's personal issues and decision to not continue the show anymore.
  • Only two of Object Havoc episodes were produced and then cancelled due to lack of interest.
  • Object Manor: It had only two episodes (like the above example) but went on to be rebooted as The Nightly Manor in 2021.
  • Object Overload continued the object show curse by only having 6 initial episodes then an attempted Continuity Reboot that didn't even make it to a second episode.
  • Object Players: This series had the distinction of being a short runner not only once but four times from the reboots it had spawned. To summarize: The original beta version ran two episodes, the next iteration of the same name had three, Object Nitro only released one, Level Up had three again due to file corruption of the fourth episode and it's currently on its fifth iteration House of Havoc that may or may not be produced.
  • Object Redundancy: Had two episodes and then the lack of interest kicked in but at least the creator tried to give the show some closure by the host arbitrarily deciding on the winner before the briefcase carrying the prize money ran off and the cast sailing off into the sunset trying to catch it.
  • Object Show 87 didn't last long since it was what the Object Show Community calls, a joke show. It concluded the series at 6 episodes.
  • Object Show: Just a Pilot and nothing more as Zojo became disatisfied with the show's direction. When the Soft Reboot happened under a different concept and name of Into the Canvas, Zojo's declining wellbeing only made it to the second episode before she voluntarily left the internet and hasn't returned since.
  • The Object Show had seven episodes before it was cancelled and subsequently disowned by its creator. However, it later returned in 2023 as a joke series.
  • The original run of Object Trek lasted only three episodes before getting canned, presumably due to the show getting marked "For Kids" by YouTube.
  • Rush Hour Elimination: The second season "Generation 2" deliberately ran for one episode.
  • Shape Battle had four episodes in total.
  • Shape World ended after seven episodes.
  • 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖'𝐒 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 was a show that followed the plot of Pibby with object show characters. The series was canceled after one episode from lack of motivation and the creator feeling like they were only making the show to follow a trend.
  • Super Dumb Joke Show: Invoked when FuzzyEpic3 ran a new series on April Fools' Day but deleted its only episode on an undisclosed viewer vote and never spoke about it again.
  • Town Attack got discontinued after four episodes because OpalStatus wanted to focus on her other show, Gerenal Mayhem, in spite of the former being way more popular with the viewers than the latter. However, she would later reboot the series in Town Attack: The Novel.
  • Ultimate Insanity ran for three episodes including a two-parter finale as Daniel Rapitis got tired of making episodes. A few of the characters made their way to Daniel's next show Project Breakout.
  • Untitled Object Show only had one season of ten episodes because Creepsington came to dislike the show and wanted to focus on his other projects.
  • Wishful Thinking (2018): The object show curse prevails when the creator completely ghosted the comic after two chapters and an interlude.
