"But problems the U.F. solve do not always involve high-stakes, saving-the-world phenomena."
— Narration in Chapter 1 of Unity Force: Stories
Unity Force (U.F.) is a Massive Multiplayer Crossover Fanfic series by meetoureyes
. It encompasses characters from all forms of media, including Anime, Manga, Video Games, and the like.
The Unity Force: Stories has been re-released on May 12, 2022. It was once again re-released on March 8, 2025 as a Continuity Reboot, which had many Broad Strokes to the canon (which also included new mission fics, new storylines, and new characters not present in the original). Due to this, it has its own page here, titled Unity Force Redux.
Stories:
- Unity Force: Stories

- Unity Force Missions: Girls' Last Tour

- Unity Force Missions: Horizon Zero Dawn

- Unity Force Chronicles

This page focuses on the old, now discanonized continuity.
The following tropes are applied in Unity Force, as a whole:
- Adaptational Badass: Being a crossover, most of the normal characters in the story have been given special abilities.
- Chito imbues the power of crimson lightning, which is, by far, much more powerful than Kakashi's, but because of its uncontrollable state that led her into nearly destroying the Thunder Dome, it leads to her being banned from Unity Force Academy temporarily.
- Age-Gap Romance: Minna and Franky in Chapter 19, since the former is 19 and the latter is 37.
- Age Lift: Chito and Yuuri have their ages lifted up to 25 and 24, in contrast to their source material, respectively.
- Chekhov's Gun: The photo that Chito's group found in Kozakura's home in Chapter 14 is later revealed to be Kozakura's family photo, which revealed her relation to Miyako.
- Heroic BSoD: Kozakura went into this in Chapter 14, after it was revealed that she is the sister of Miyako Izumo.
- Like Brother and Sister: Dorothy and Reona West are this towards Genos.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Self-explanatory. But the inclusion of some characters that are tied to only a single medium make their appearance.
- The Multiverse: Aside from having hundreds of Earths scattered across the multiverse, there are two main worlds that have been mentioned:
- The U.F. Earth is where the Unity Force students mostly reside, but the only place mentioned is the U.F. Academy and the Unity Triangle, which are comprised of three towers in a triangular formation that resemble Toronto's CN Tower, albeit they are much, much taller.
- The Normal Earth is where normal characters mostly reside, but the particular destination of Normal Earth is based on the Normal Earth's portal switch.
- Odd Friendship: Being a multiversal story, this series features so many of these friendships, which includes the following:
- Zoro Roronoa and Maya Tendo, being one example. One who is a pirate and the other being a prima donna stage actor in a music academy, where their only commonality is their skill.
- Hayate Ayasaki, Kanta Mizuno, and Nagi Sanzenin, though the former two often act as rivals, thanks to their differing backgrounds.
- Sanji Vinsmoke and Hibiki Shikyoin are also another example, one a pirate and another an idol.
- The band members of Roselia are friends with two of the members of Straw Hat Pirates, Brook and Usopp, characters from One Piece. However, Sayo Hikawa and Yukina Minato tend to not get along with both of them due to their conflicting personalities.
- Amane Sumeragi (from Waccha PriMagi!) and Chito, where the former is a third-year junior high student and the latter is a mid-20s hero. The reasons for their odd friendship were only implied in Chapter 21 of Unity Force: Stories, when the former met the latter at a café at Arawashi School, who was initially unaware of Chito's background as a member of the Unity Force.
- Protagonist: Chito and Yuuri are the main characters of the Unity Force series.
- Related in the Adaptation: This trope will be prevalent, as the story goes on.
- Chapter 5 reveals that Hayate Ayasaki is related to Nina Shimazaki, the titular protagonist of the manga Silver Nina, as second cousins of the Ayasaki family.
- Touko Kirigaya, one of the band members of Morfonica, is revealed to be the cousin of the Sword Art Online main character Kazuto Kirigaya.
- Kozakura is related to Miyako Izumo as her sister, thereby making her Kozakura Izumo instead.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis:
- Hayate Ayasaki and Kanta Mizuno fall into this trope. Despite being friends, they often act as rivals to one another. It doesn't help the fact that they both live on different sides of the law in their respective worlds.
- Zoro Roronoa and Sanji Vinsmoke, as per canon.
- Sayo Hikawa, Roselia's guitarist, does not usually get along with Usopp and Brook, due to the former being an annoying coward and the latter being an immature goof.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Mami, Kyoko, and Sayaka are all alive in this universe. It’s later revealed that Nagisa’s alive too.
- Wham Episode:
- A shocking reveal in Chapter 14 is shown that Kozakura is, or was, related to Miyako Izumo as her younger sister, who wandered to another world, which is the Princess Connect universe.
- Wham Line:
- Chapter 13:
Akira Mosakuji: There's been largely rumours happening in my own world regarding this dead person named Miyako having had an older sister in the past, and how she does not even exist in the first place in our own world, which was suspicious.
