NET (Creator)
NET (abbreviation of News and Entertainment Television), known as MDTV since 2025, is an Indonesian television network launched in 2013. Founded by Agus Lasmono and Wishnutama, NET produced a variety of TV series, both fiction and non-fiction, and anniversary show titled Indonesian Choice Awards which has international guest stars. NET faced the problem of their original shows being expensive while the ratings are not very high. After Wishnutama resigned in 2019, NET produced less original shows, stopped making Indonesian Choice Awards, and began airing more imported shows. Following the decline, NET was brought by major Indonesian TV production house MD Entertainment in 2024.

NET used to upload all full episodes from their shows to a self-made website named Zulu.id, but in 2021, they scrapped Zulu.id and replaced it with a similar website named NETVERSE. For some shows, they uploaded part of or the whole show to their YouTube channel.

Not to be confused with America's public broadcaster PBS, which used to be called NET (in its case short for National Educational Television).
