would the bnha boys want kids?

this is just a random idea that popped up in my head and i decided why not. these r all just my opinions!!

short answer: yes!

  • while izuku is extremely afraid to become a father and basically be responsible for a human/humans for the rest of their lives, the idea of having mini hims running around is amazing
  • i think he’s just scared of being an overbearing dad. he wouldn’t want his kids to be bullied growing up like he was
  • but he does really want kids. he considers the possibility of them not following in his footsteps, but just having someone to continue his legacy after he’s long gone to would be awesome

  • if you asked him up front, the answer would be no
  • he’s not that good with kids… he’s not that good with anyone tbh
  • he feels like he’d also be too overbearing, but in a way where his expectations would be entirely too high
  • he pushes himself everyday of his life. not everyone can live up to that standard; in his eyes, at least
  • he wouldn’t want his children to feel like they’ll never be good enough for their father
  • but… if he found the right person to balance out his own flaws, then maybe.

  • todoroki thinks he’s nowhere near emotionally available for a child
  • he’s not exactly afraid of becoming like his fatherβ€”he knows he’s better than that pos at this point
  • but the lingering fear of messing up, and making his kids feel worthless & talentless will always be there
  • his family hasn’t even healed from all the trauma they went through, and it’s gonna be a while before they start. he’s gotta get all that figured out before he brings even more children into the picture
  • but, i think he’d be open to the idea once he feels at his best

  • kirishima would loooove to have a family of his own with his s/o one day!
  • the thought of being a pro hero and having his own family to come back to everyday is something he daydreams of
  • he literally dreams of teaching them confidence and courage, wanting them to be stronger than he was throughout their journey of his life
  • and kirishima would take so much pride in being a dad as well as a hero!

  • starting a family definitely sounds nice but he’s not that interested in it
  • once he’s been with his s/o for a while and that conversation arises, he wouldn’t be opposed to it
