⚠️JJK MANGA SPOILERS tagged #jjk spoilers Shit ton of reblogs and current fandom obsessions. It's a mixed bag here. You have been warned. Gif List β€’ Art Blog β˜• Ko-Fi πŸ’–

Gonna be here for a while so, right off the bat for any Jujutsu Kaisen viewers:

  • I tag #jjk spoilers for the sake of anime-onlys. That tag refers to content that could spoil things that have only happened in the manga so far.
  • I tag #jjk season 2 for official stuff related to season 2 of the anime.
  • I also tag #jjk manga for just general jjk manga edits, manga caps, etc. Lots of overlap with #jjk spoilers, obviously, but not only.

That's the important stuff for now. Will update if I think of anything else.

So, um. Have you guys seen these ones yet?

Yeah... Yeah. 😒

I'd like to add some extra context to these images because it breaks my heart. The kids woke up on their last day in Okinawa to do some sight seeing after their mission, and Gojo was already gone for the day. No one had seen him even for breakfast. So they go about their business and they finally see Gojo again at the airport when its time to fly home.

Which means they don't know Gojo is there at the aquarium, and he's purposefully keeping himself apart from them. When its time to go, we see that he bought all of them plenty of souvenirs, even the hotpot set for Miwa that they were disqualified from winning at a beach volleyball tournament (that he also "wasn't there" for). It seems like, while he was legitimately off doing his own thing in Okinawa, which has plenty of angst potential on its own, he was also keeping pretty close tabs on what everyone was up to.

We see Gojo exhibit this behavior of keeping himself separated several times in the Phantom Parade events - in some cases it's so they can "experience their youth to the fullest", or because he thinks he's going to disrupt things by showing up. Either way, there seems to be the belief that his presence will ruin whatever fun is being had and/or put people on edge (in the case of letting the kids heckle Ijichi without joining in for Ijichi's day off event, even though he'd been trying to help Ijichi relax all day).

Gojo probably views this as simple self-awareness. After all, he's a person of authority, The Strongest, and "has a bad personality". We know he isolates himself on purpose from the manga, but Phantom Parade shows us what that can actually look like. And its sad. It's sad that he thinks his very presence would make things worse for the people he cares about. And its sad that for the most part, he's right. He always looks so damn wistful about it too, like he really, really wants to be with them and be a part of things, but just... knows better than to try.

He does turn up during this event and is generally a menace, you guys have probably seen the watergun fight pics, but that's the thing - he shows up when it'd be funny to be annoying, or to bother someone on purpose. Every time he'd like to just be together with others for enjoyment, he holds himself back. And it kills me that, with the exception of Yuuji, Yuuta, and Shoko, he's right to.

Seperately, this event has also provided several "dead wife montage" style pics of Gojo LMAO. The first is the one in the original post, but his SSR beach character's alternate art is just as bad:

(edited post to change the images because the first ones were crunchy as fuck lmao. These are straight from the game's assets)

Anonymous asked:

Thought crimes of course aren’t real but uh. We know those aren’t just thoughts anymore once you’ve posted them publicly, yeah?

Then they’re just crimes.

sure, fictional crimes since nothing happened and no one was hurt. should we put the fictional handcuffs on? "sorry, you wrote about murder which is illegal, go spend 20 years in mind jail"

y'all make so much more fuss about shit in fanfiction than crimes in real life

Why is it so difficult to find a list of every Cursed Spirit in Phantom Parade??? Even if the English-speaking side is missing one, I expected to find something more comprehensive in the Japanese side. But nope! Zilch!

The Shamisen Cursed Spirit (δΈ‰ε‘³η·šε‘ͺ霊) from the GTG story event? LITERALLY TWO SEARCH RESULTS. One of them is a tiktok clip and the other is just someone's username!

I'm suffering guys. I just like that Phanpara has all these new Cursed Spirits and want to appreciate them better. At first I just wanted all their names in one place (this is already difficulty level S) now I'm thinking I need to compile little images of them too. Idk, I'll see how I feel if I ever even complete these names.

This isn't even touching the original new characters we meet in events. But that's easier to scrounge up since people just post the story events straight up.

I think the most frustrating part about the Phanpara community is that it's all about, "how to beat this level," "what team combination is most effective," etc., etc. All the wikis I've found online only cover that stuff. But not much appreciation about the actual story and character/creature content!

Anyway, here's my pathetic list of characters and Cursed Spirits if you are like me.

i feel like people think companies will be altruistic and do the right thing regardless of government intervention. like no, companies are driven by capitalism. to make the most out of the day and money they have and maximize profits, especially fortune 500 companies

like without government intervention, strawberry jam would have wood in it. like it's a thing. food companies realized that they could use less of the expensive strawberries as ingredients and just use wood. there are laws you cannot legally call it strawberry jam if you do this. you have to call it a strawberry product or spread. food companies are always trying to get that shit through. they have lobby groups pushing that all the time

it is more expensive to put metal detectors in a food processing plant. companies want to cut costs. it is a legal requirement in a lot of countries to have them. so it forces companies to install them.

also to do routine inspections. that is a government requirement. so are building codes. a lot of codes are the bare minimum. like some companies will exceed the code and have more protections but a lot don't. like if it is not in the code, they don't do it. so that's why having governing bodies that regulate building safety, worker safety, food safety and product safety are crucial. because without them, your employer will not see the need to have exit doors with quick release handles, or do routine fire sprinkler inspections or have road salt for the sidewalks. some of it is basic fucking stuff.

companies when left alone do not regulate themselves. it's been historically untrue. companies want to give you a product that is cheap for them to make and that they can sell at the highest price so they can get the most profit. for everyone who loves capitalism, that's what it is. the free market will not self-regulate. if you don't have anti-monopoly laws and anti-wage theft laws and workers' protections, the open market will not fix that organically.

when government officials talk about removing protections it is not good. like they were put in place for a reason. like drinking water and food regulations were written in blood. same with human rights and freedoms. like people died for the building code to be written. people died for occupational healthy and safety codes to be written. there is a reason food safety codes are there. companies will look at 100 people dying and say it was the cost of doing business. it is the government's job to say that is an unacceptable and for companies to do better

I'm fullllllll. Fruit is good. Everyone should eat more fruit.

Anyway, I listed out some fruits to associate with jjk characters because I'm so full of fruit rn. These are very shallow word associations.

Nobara - Watermelon. No deeper meaningβ€”Watermelon just happens to be Nobara's canonically favorite food. Mikan, lychees.

Megumi - Pomegranate. I generally associate Megumi with death, so death = pomegranate. Grapefruit, figs.

Yuji - Grapes, starfruit, pineapple, bananas, hmm peanuts.

Gojo - Dragon fruit, strawberries, blueberries, almonds... Peaches. Peaches only hit me because he plays Momotaro in the DVD drama CD. lol, so specifically Japanese momo peaches.

Kenjaku - Apples. Going with the direct association of forbidden knowledge. So just, all kinds of apples.

Maki - Kiwi, lemon, pistachios... honeydew melon. Just noticed how green these are. Throw in some limes with those lemons.

Yuta - Pears, walnuts, persimmons, Japanese sweet potatoes. Very winter flavored.

Sukuna - Cherries, plums, blood oranges, black berries, dates.
