i watched it on a piracy site lookmovie2.to 🫣 but i’m not sure if you need a vpn for it to work. it’s generally safe but can have a lot of pop ups, so i just use a vpn. there might be others that work without but i don’t know which do. and i would suggest using a browser like brave.

ok so i also don’t read a lot BUT. even though there have already been and are currently being done adaptations of carrie, i really hope someone will make an accurate adaptation with carrie being fat and her mother being. ya know. bad. both the 76 movie and this new series they’re making are lacking in either of those😬

7. What's the one thing people get wrong about your favorite female characters?
luckily i don’t see a lot of discourse around the characters i like that aren’t in ST lol. i guess for nancy, people focus too hard on her romantic plotlines in a way that they deem to be more progressive. like it probably seems hypocritical for me to be like ‘she can be independent while being in a relationship!!’ when so many people have said the same about el and i kind of disagreed with that premise lol. i think it’s because nancy has always been very self assured and has had a well established sense of self worth and independence since around the end of the first season. i don’t think she has ever been hindered in that regard by her relationship from that point onwards. people seem to base it more on a general principle they have that they apply to everything instead of what we actually see in the show. man i think it depends.

i guess a lot of horror/slasher kind of films. what comes to mind is the scream movies, lisa frankenstein, nightmare on elm street, fear street and jennifer’s body. and i also think what a lot of these have in common is comedy as well. i feel like horror/comedy is one of my fav genre combinations. and i mean slashers kind of encapsulate that.

ouhhhh probably that dislike or criticism of a lot of female characters is too quickly attributed to misogyny without considering the individual case i guess? that’s not to say a lot of people don’t have double standards with the characters they like/dislike based on gender, but sometimes it feels like female characters with unlikeable traits who aren’t particularly well written are treated as if they should be exempt from others’ criticism solely because of being a woman.
