Another year, another amazing Tolkientage!! Expect a LOT of pictures to come (also maybe a YouTube video 🀫 and some tiktoks probably). Honestly, the Tolkientage are hands down my favourite con. The people are just SO SO lovely and it is incredibly beautiful. It is all run by a non-profit, so tickets are affordable and the people building the sets and doing the battles and cosplays are all such incredible artists!

I'm a gay man and not a lesbian but I just love how there are certain videos I can look at and say "I know the 'not to be a lesbian but oh my god' tags must be in the notes" and then I look and there they are

I love lesbians and I love videos that make lesbians go "oh my god". mlm wlw solidarity

Same thoughts as a gay man

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β β€œBut Arwen went forth from the House, and the light of her eyes was quenched, and it seemed to her people that she had become cold and grey as nightfall in winter that comes without a star. Then she said farewell to Eldarion, and to her daughters, and to all whom she had loved; and she went out from the city of Minas Tirith and passed away to the land of LΓ³rien, and dwelt there alone under the fading trees until winter came. Galadriel had passed away and Celeborn also was gone, and the land was silent. 'There at last when the mallorn-leaves were falling, but spring had not yet come, she laid herself to rest upon Cerin Amroth; and there is her green grave, until the world is changed, and all the days of her life are utterly forgotten by men that come after, and elanor and niphredil bloom no more east of the Sea.” Β  Β  Β   ― Β  Β  Β Tolkien, J.R.R Β

"But the Queen Arwen said: 'A gift I will give you. For I am the daughter of Elrond. I shall not go with him now when he departs to the Havens; for mine is the choice of Lucien, and as she so I have chosen, both the sweet and the bitter. But in my stead you shall go, Ring-bearer, when the time comes, and if you then desire it. If your hurts grieve you still and the memory of your burden is heavy, then you may pass into the West, until all your wounds and weariness are healed. But wear this now in memory of Elfstone and Evenstar with whom your life has been woven!' And she took the white gem like a star that lay upon her breast hanging upon a silver chain, and she set the chain around Frodo's neck. 'When the memory of the fear and the darkness troubles you', she said, 'this will bring you aid." ~ Return of the King
