weekly magick correspondence cheat sheet

free to download/print, just don't redistribute to other places/websites. this is a general summary (or masterlist?) of how i personally guide myself through the week.

includes deities, theme keywords, and a small list of suggested activities (it doesn't mean those are the only days you can do those activities in, it just means they best align with the themes of that day).

i fell ill this week, so i made myself a spell jar... that you can eat!

quick note: practice food-safety! do not consume if there's fuzzy growth, putrid/rotten smells, mushy or slimey veggies.

ingredients

  • honey (healing, abundance, cleansing)
  • garlic (warding off illness)
  • dried rosemary (cleansing, purifying)

this jar has both magical and microbial benefits that can help with common colds.

skin your garlic and slice them in half, then add the rest of your ingredients. you can also add other herbs (my personal favorites are oregano and thyme). close the lid shut and keep it in a cool place to ferment, away from sunlight. make sure that the jar you use is clean and sanitized.

after a week, you can eat the garlic on its own or use the mix to add it to your toast for a sweet and savory flavor. however, i suggest allowing it to ferment for more than a month (~6 months best for the garlic pungence to mellow).

supporting spells. draw a sigil/rune on a piece of paper and stick it under the jar or over it to "seal" its properties until they're ready to consume. when the jar is closed shut, you may use incense to bless the spell by hovering it outside the jar (not inside). you can place the jar on your dedicated altar or just your countertop.

reminding you all of one of my most favourite sculptures of all time. "Satyr playing with Eros" by yannoulis chalepas

Heyoo, I just wanted to ask, how did you discover you have been a devotee of Eros?

Not as in, like a guide or a tutorial, but for you specifically :) I'm really curious about your story, if it's not too personal to share of course!

Have a great day/night ✨🙏

no more divine feminine/masculine as repackaged gender roles, no more crystals to cure cancer, no more higher self instead of looking at yourself, no more starseeds, no more fear mongering around protection magic, no more calling toxicity "energy vampirism", no more applying new age terms to folk practices, no more anthropomorphizing spirits, no more

i found out about witches typically having 3 names (according to this reel i watched)

♱ ⋆ your chosen / legal name that everyone knows ,

♱ ⋆ the name you go by solely in witchy spaces that only other witches know

♱ ⋆ the name you use in spellwork that no one else knows

this is so interesting to me because prior to this knowledge, all my spells ive done that ive used my name in, i had used my chosen name.

so i definitely need to redo my protection & anxiety spell jar with a spellwork name,,,,

♱ ⋆ disclaimer as per always , this is not a requirement or something that you need to do , this is just stuff i find interesting that i’m choosing to do as apart of my work. everyones witchcraft is different , this is just mine :) <3
