I had the absolute honor of creating these special illustrations for Alex Rochon!

For his very own D&D one-shot, I designed every single character from the show — reimagined in fabulous, fantasy-inspired outfits!

Alex gave me wonderful descriptions and references for his vision, and together we brought these chaotic, lovable characters into a whole new world.

The DnD stream was hilarious, heartfelt, and so full of personality — and seeing the cast bring the designs to life was such a surreal moment!

Right after the stream, fans started drawing fanart of my designs!!

I’m honestly so proud and beyond grateful that something I created inspired others to create too.

Thank you again to Alex and the cast for trusting me with this magical project — and to everyone who’s shared love for the designs, you’ve made my artist heart so full 💕

Also in the spirit of thinking about dnd a lot tonight I went through a bunch of my digital character sheets (i dunno where any of my paper ones are) and I found some gems, like one entitled “you asked for this maximum minmax” which when I opened it turned out to be completely blank except for the “Name” line that just had “Fuck You” in it. I also found a sheet that I made by randomizing everything while drunk with friends which is a dragonkin sorcerer with a strength of 19 and a wisdom of 9 whose only weapons were listed as “Big, Meaty Claws” and had a bluff modifier of +10.

I haven’t played dnd in way too long and I have a half dozen fuckin character sheets that are completely unused I gotta play dnd.

Dungeons and Dragons, but your character must be a self insert, and class is determined by your current abilities Barbarian Must have a demonstrable temper, go off I guess  Bard Must be able to play an instrument Cleric Must be involved in a religious organization Druid Must have demonstrable knowledge of, or passion for nature  Fighter Must beat the DM in physical combat (hope your DM’s a wimp)  Monk Must practice a martial art  Paladin Must have a cause that one actively supports  Ranger Must be able to fire a kind of ranged weapon accurately  Rogue Must sneak up on the DM (Hard mode: steal their dice)  Sorcerer Must have a powerful family heirloom  Warlock Must work for a powerful entity (Corporations, The Government)  Wizard Must have a College Degree or a 3.0 GPA  If you can’t be any of these you start as a commoner, and may become one of these classes when you finally satisfy these conditions.

I was playing Dungeons and Dragons today during lunch with a few of my friends. We are in the middle of a battle, and one of them needs to roll a D20. He can’t find his, so he takes mine. I warned him, saying that the die is horrible and he used it anyways.

He rolled a 4 and died.
