funny you bring this up because i legitimately am seeing so many fucking food joints that use AI slop food images as fliers and posters and if you guys know what iβm referring to β AI food, for example, grains of rice, and the texture overall of food when generated looks absolutely vomit inducing and i saw an AI food poster tonight and it looked so fucking WILD to me.
like just take a damn photo of the food babe.
you know itβs just so crazy to me that being a teenager on tumblr from like 2013-2015 i really thought tumblr would be like the final bastion of social media websites but then the pandemic happened and tiktok kinda became an absolute powerhouse of a site that launched an entire universe of content and a majority of the newer young adults on the internet were basically raised on there, but meanwhile my ass was coding HTML themes on tumblr and worried about my blogβs aesthetic LMAOOO
like omgggβ¦talk about a different medium of self expression online from millennials and younger gen z kiddos. because i know a fuck ton of millennials grew up on tumblr (anyone who follows my blog thatβs like age 35-40?) and thereβs actually some really interesting youtube video essays about tumblr culture from that time period if you really wanna deep dive into that entire subculture that tiktok kids are now desperately trying to replicate because NO SHADE this new generation of kids are constantly trying to study past eras in search of aesthetic contentβ¦(but i fully did the same so i donβt blame em)
