Random idea for the Player One Luigi AU
Doopliss taking the place of TEC-XX and learning from Junior what friendship is, literally (lil guy has been isolated from other kids until Junior snuck into his room by mistake)
I think Doopliss would end up really liking the kid, I mean how can you not? Look at that face
@tiny-prom One hundred percent agree, no one can resist the baby face this boy can give.
Also I may have envisioned Doopliss being held captive by whatever the equivalent of the X-Nauts are and Junior meeting him when he gets kidnapped for the Ritual Shenanigans(TM), but this also makes sense. Doopliss learning about the world outside the environment he's been kept in and realizing his "caretakers" may not have the best of intentions after all...

Ohhh these are all really fun ideas! I especially love Bobbery as a ghost pirate boss! I can see him being unassuming at first, you think he's just a small bobomb and then BAM horrific ghost fight
When I drew this comic I had the very vague idea of doopliss starting out as a villian like in the game, but because of bonding with Junior he turns into an ally and possibly even a late stage partner.
Altho I have to admit I have a problem with ANY P1L AU ttyd content.....
TTYD is my favorite game of all time. Like ever. I was obsessed with it as a child and played it over and over religiously. And I think it's perfect story wise. So when it comes to changing it...I have no idea how to change it in a way that is more interesting! Like....how can I change the Shadow Queen?! She's the coolest villian ever!!
A part of me feels that in the spirit of Paper Mario, any P1L AU paper mario content should be a whole original story(which i do have some ideas for!)......but also I love so many of the paper mario characters and want to use them....I have a lot to think of....!!
I have more ideas for SPM switch ups, with timpani being a villianess in her wedding dress but secretly the queen of Pixls is the true villian
But what cool twist can I do for TTYD??? the spirits of the original heroes are trapped down there??? I don't want my au to be as simple as "the shadow queen is a good guy now" because that's quite boring. I want a reason for her to either go good or be even worse. Maybe instead I could play into the untapped lore of the shadow kingdom itself?

I have a horrible sinful Mario take to share…unfortunately I have never cared much for the koopalings 😔
So I’m not fully sure what to do with them in this AU! I have a couple sketches I made once, I’m not very happy with them (except for Wendy)
I don’t like the idea of Bowser having 8 kids so personally I prefer them being more like henchmen/evil baby sitters.
I think in P1L AU, the koopalings would become koopa traitors , after learning about how previous kings were ruthless warmongers. So they go to be hitmen for Peach instead. Another thought I had is that maybe they actually split up, half of them become traitors and the other half are loyal,
I do think Wendy and Ludwig would fight over the idea of being Peach’s heir to the throne, but Peach has no real interest in them because they aren’t royal blood. She’s only using them because they’re willing to betray the koopas

Have been in a real rut lately, so I'm going to try and little project where I revamp old ocs of mine!
Part 1 is Cotton Ball and Mr Whale! (Check out the super old art under the cut)
They're sentient toys trapped in a magical world. Cotton is trying to get back to her little girl, but Mr. Whale has been there long enough he has no child to go back to.
Cotton doesn't remember much about her child, and learns more through her various journeys exploring their everchanging prison. And through it she realizes more and more that this little girl NEEDS her back, leaving Cotton more desperate to get home.
She has the power to grant wishes, but the catch is she has to make other people BELIEVE in the wish she wants to grant.
Over time things get more intense, and she often experiences toy gore where she has to protect the little felt heart inside of her that holds her child's wishes and love for her.
Its about comfort items, childhood, dreams, depression, and beliefs.
