Life update: after +20 years of stabbing myself daily with needles I finally got an insulin pump since they've made them so advanced over the years. I got Omnipod 5 and it changed my routine completely but holy shit? My blood sugar has never been this stable before. And my dad calls me a cyborg now. The downsides are moments of hypoglycemia especially during night time but me and my pump are both still learning and I think drops can be avoided if we tweak the settings with my diabetes team.
Anyways I'm glad I took the offer, diabetes burnout is real and this little device will be so, so helpful.

VGen artists please beware!
Scammers are sending phising links in commission requests. Stay smart and stay safe! Here's an example. I got a request with a suspicious link in the reference box (link's description says: "Please note: this message was not posted by a user. Before making new transactions, review the policy via the link below. You cannot proceed without doing so. Thank you for your understanding"). I didn't click the link so I have no other visual examples than the screenshot below, but these phising links usually take you to a fake VGen page, ask for your payment information and steal your money.
Remember internet safety, never ever click random links from people or sources you don't know and if something feels off! Report and decline these requests if you get any. Hopefully VGen will look into this and improve their safety measures in the future. Unfortunately no website is completely safe from phising attempts.

My external hard drive that I used to store all my art (commissions, originals, wips, going as far as almost a decade old pieces), a huge library of reference packs, literature, design elements etc etc etc, died today out of nowhere! It might cost 1½ times our rent to fix it and try to salvage as much as possible! Great!
The funny thing is that this hard drive was a backup for another device from a long time ago, and I didn't think to make a backup for this backup. And now I suffer. Trust no one, not even your backup.
The PCB is totally busted and the only way to get any data back is to get spare parts and fix the drive so it's usable again, but it will cost 750€. I literally have no choice if I want my library back
