also i love sexualizing catholicism by proxy through the andrastian chantry. man what if the inquisitor's love interest ate out the anchor. what if the anchor were depicted in andrastian religious iconography the same way medieval artists depicted christ's side wound looking like a pussy
i typically think of the anchor in dai as being like fantasy stigmata, which does beg the question: do you think people try to touch the inquisitor's anchor-hand when they walk past, kind of like biblical stories involving people trying to grab jesus's cloak as he passed them. since the mark is specifically symbolic of their holy power i imagine it would be the hand specifically. how weird do you think people get about being Touched by the anchor
