Did anyone else notice how the way Will was written was way more happy and playful in general? Like in ep 3 when Joyce said her plan kinda sucked and he just smiled and went "kinda?"
And that talk he has with Mike in ep 4 where he pokes Mike
And also just every interaction with Robin
It reminded me so much of Will in the very first episode in season 1, where he's riding home with Dustin and cheats in their race.
In season 4 I could count on one hand how many times Will even smiled
Despite everything, he's really getting better. He's acting like himself again
