☀️for the child she'd saved, now lost to her. Or so she thought. The child regenerated. The first regeneration of any person on the planet of Gallifrey, a timeless child.

I wanna say a big thank you to @another-arteeth and the very sweet people in the Gallifreyan subreddit for helping me translating "the timeless child" into Shermans Gallifreyan!!! This community has been so sweet and welcoming, thank you sincerly <3

The Master’s eyes in the Timeless Child will forever haunt me. He had been crying. He knew that the Doctor would never forgive him for what he did. This is not TenSimm or Twissy.

So he took the final thing the Doctor had to cling to, her identity, her memories, the saving of her home planet. The last remaining shred of their relationship he took away, he made himself the villain again. And he cried.

He cannot bear that the Doctor made him what he is not because he hates that idea but because they’re not the same anymore. She’s different than him.

For centuries he took comfort in knowing they were two sides of the same coin. Not anymore. She’s “so much more” than him.

That’s why later he wanted to become her. I think he’s always wanted to be the Doctor. Maybe it’s a nod to Torvic, how the Doctor changed their paths. Maybe it’s pure obsession. Maybe a bit of both.

Because if you can’t be with your ex you become them. Right Doctor?

Some don't consider the 1996 movie canon, but it's still canon, yes the TARDIS swallowed the Master, yes that should've been the end of him, but obviously he gave her indigestion, so she had to spit him out.

8th saying "I'm half-human on my mother's side" on his part could've been a joke or a memory seeping through, we'll never know, it could certainly explain the Doctor's affinity with humans.

Roberts' Master noted that the Doctor’s eye retina was shaped like a human's, so not Gallifreyan, maybe since then the Master has been trying to figure out who the Doctor really is, and didn't find the answers until the Timeless Child.

I'm so done with people claiming that Timeless Child broke the lore when it explains so much of the lore, even the plot holes.

For example, all those never-before-seen faces that appear when 4th and Morbius have a mind-bending duel. Presumably, those faces could've just been Morbius's past incarnations. But a lot of them seemed to be the Doctor’s forgotten ones, Morbius didn't recognize them because even he asks, "How far, Doctor? How long have you lived?"
