Shavuot is about the Jewish people signing the Terms & Conditions before reading them.

Every generation, however, gets patch updates and both the user manuals and technical documentation are incredibly detailed.

And excellent user support is available from specialists who have made it their life's work to study the exhaustive documentation.

(And a good Rabbi will never just tell the user to RTFM.)

shipped a notion template pack in january. spent the first month tweeting about it to my 600 followers. sold 11 copies. shipped a small saas in march. spent six weeks — six actual weeks — building the stripe integration, the license key system, and the affiliate tracking dashboard before i could even charge anyone. then i spent another two weeks dm'ing creators on tiktok asking if they'd post about it. three replied. one ghosted after the contract. one posted and it did okay. one wanted $800 upfront. moved both products to peddlum last month. listed a campaign for the template pack. four creators applied in the first week. one of them posted a tiktok that did 30k views and drove more sales in 48 hours than i'd done in three months. the saas auto-provisions access via webhook when stripe fires — i didn't build any of that, the marketplace handles checkout and just pings my endpoint when someone pays. 10% platform fee, which felt steep until i did the math on the six weeks i spent building infrastructure i could've just rented. if i was starting over i'd skip the "build everything yourself" phase entirely. the indie hacker brain rot tells you to ship every piece of infra from scratch. you don't have to. it's
