somewhere in between pain, suffering, and cycles, phainon always seemed to find you in the midst of it all. with every clash of his blade against the flame reaver, he thinks of you. 

he knows you're probably afraid and confused somewhere in amphoreus, as the beautiful sky twisted into every citizens' worst fear, something he said would never happen. 

he wanted nothing more than to run to you in this very moment, to shield you away from the dark, to play hero 'til his limbs gave out. 

his breathing grew ragged, movements with an edge of carelessness. the sooner he finished this, the sooner he could find you. when all of this finished, he'd finally take you on that date that's been long postponed after he joined the flame chase, a promise that was made long ago in the fields of aedes elysiae.
