Nozomi is a former pilot and a recruited kamikaze, surviving after the "successful sacrifice", forced to live now in a new world where she no longer has any chance of flying her beloved planes. This drives her a little unhinged at times. She found a whole shovel somewhere, so she uses it as a possible weapon. Meguru is a pessimist -realist" who has resigned himself to the rules of this new wasteland. and ofс she annoys him a little
