ncuti's doctor has yet to have a proper "I am The Doctor" moment. he kind of just feels like a random gay guy who just happens to also have a timespace machine. rather than this *ancient being* in the body of a young man. where's the gravitas?
the doctor isn't supposed to fit with the social norms. either because personality wise he's too eccentric to know any better or because he purposely likes to not be stereotypically human. but ncuti's doctor just feels like a regular guy who passes perfectly.
if they fucking abandon Jonathan Groffs Rogue storyline in the new who season, I think I will throw rocks.
