Guess I'm Going to Slowly Make the Society Gay

So our society logo has always been this:

But for June one of our committee members changed our discord profile to this:

I was originally against this, as it gives me massive corporate pride vibes and was expecting it to be removed the moment June was over, but July and August have passed and it is still up there so either:

For this reason, I decided that I will slowly start rebranding the society with the pride logo, starting here (where tbh, most people never check), then to our social media channels and finally our branding our Student's Union page.

The way I see it, my action will either:

So I have a thing with organisations adding pride flags in June. It just feels like a fake amount of interest for a month when organisations celebrate pride. I feel it should be embraced more long term.

A couple of weeks ago, I was surprised to find that we had gone prideful for June:

But what people keep forgetting is that we have the Minechester Pride logo so therefore I will be celebrating in our normal colours, matching the colours of Minechester pride.
