random twst ocs
I was flipping through an old sketchbook and rediscovered a few semi-developed Twst OCs 🤡I thought I'd share
The first is an older woman twisted from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty, and desire:
- Idia and Ortho's
wineaunt. Neither Shroud brother likes her very much and they are extremely cheeky to her. GIRLBOSSCareer woman.- She holds a chair on Olympos Inc's Board of Directors, a marketing and social media expert.
- The brain behind the most popular dating app in Twisted Wonderland, Arrow Through the Heart. Refers to her employees as her “little Cupids”.
- Calls everyone overly cutesy nicknames.
- Hates being reminded of her age and/or her own love life (which is a hot mess). She used to be married, but was caught in an affair so they divorced. Currently on the look for a "bad boy". (In irl Greek lore, Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus, but had an affair with Ares.)
- Easily envious and can be vindictive. (In irl Greek lore, Aphrodite was jealous of women deemed more beautiful than her and sought revenge on them.)
- Loves beautiful things, a little shallow and very much into aesthetics.
- Constantly teases the children in her family and asks them when will they find a S/O; this pisses Idia off to no end so he retaliates by intentionally calling her “obaasan”.
- Her orangey-gold hair is supposed to resemble the hair shape of Disney's Aphrodite. Skin isn't outright pink, but is kinda colored as if she is naturally blushing.
- The seashell-shaped earrings are a reference to "The Birth of Venus", or how Aphordite was born of sea foam.
- She tends to wear long, fancy dresses that cling to her body.
- Lots of pink and heart motifs incorporated into her accessories.
The second is the twisted!Iago OC I mentioned a while agobut forgot to introduce after the survey closed, oops:
- Fuck it, if Twst won't give me a shitty bird boy THEN I'LL MAKE HIM MYSELF 😤
- His WIP name is Malik (yes, I wanted to ironically name him "master"/"ruler" since Jamil said the first word he wants to teach a parrot he gets is "master").
- A bratty freshman student in Scarabia and a member of the Debate Club.
- He’s sarcastic, loud-mouthed, and short-tempered (like Iago is). Talks big but can’t back himself up and is a huge coward.
- A bird beastman. He has a tail but you can’t see it since I didn’t do a full body sketch! (Disney says Iago is a scarlet macaw, but he actually more closely resembles a red lory.)
- His birthday is May 20 (Taurus) <- release date of Return of Jafar, the film where Iago goes from bad to good!!
- His special talent is improv rapping. He’s also good at finding lost objects.
- HATES crackers
and Kalim force-feeding him crackers🤢 - Personal style leans toward streetwear and bright colors.
- Has a habit of stealing snacks.
- He is very mouthy and shit talks when he really shouldn’t, gets into hot water because of it, and runs behind his vice dorm leader for help.
- The biggest Jamil stan you will ever meet. Calls himself Jamil’s bestie/minion. Follows Jamil around and tries his best to be helpful and/or intimidate Jamil's enemies with his stare in hopes of being praised by him. (He usually just causes trouble or extra work for Jamil.)

I truly think one of the most juiciest and unexplored stories in MCD is the implied rationship between Garroth and Matilda/Milfina. Like to me this affair truly just recontexualizes everything about Garroth’s character and his dynamics with Malik and the village. Like you’re telling me that this stern and stoic knight we’ve just met was fully cucking his sworn lord???? To the point that he’s heavily implied to be Levin’s biological father? I am not joking when I say that this is actually vital Garroth lore. You are not seeing the full picture if you do not consider the fact that Garroth was doing all this shit just before aph comes into the picture
