Korra to Mako in B1

Kuvira should've pulled a zuko and ill die on that hill

the parallels between korra and kuvira are so complex that I think kuvira wouldve been her saving grace, as korras crew was disappointingly absent compared to aangs whos friends would have and did die for him. Not to mention if kuvira did join, korra would have someone that has her back physically as she is one of the greatest earth benders other than of course toph, and she wouldnt have to rely (which she barely did) on stinky mako. I dont see much appreciation posts about kuvira as a character, she is in my opinion korras most worthy antagonist. Two people who take being a leader as a great responsibility and falling into their own demise because of it... its beautiful

hey, uh. aside from "the current writing team can't take sokka's intelligence and actually impressive technical grasp seriously for even a moment," and "sokka must always be goofing in every scene," was there a good reason for his flying contraption to be a silly flapping bicycle and not something like idk a Curtis model E?

We have airplanes in LoK, it would have been a really fun call back if Sokka had some kind of early prototype version he was tinkering with. I don't even think it would change the jokes all that much, there's lots of aviation comedy history to pull from.

IDK Bryke is always trying to justify and legitimize choices they made about the world building for LoK of which the "technological jumps" between LAB and LoK are one of the things often (and imo erroneously) criticized, and that could have been a neat little wink-and-nudge bridge between the two series.

Don't get me wrong the prison confrontation scene is Very Good but Zaheer should've been executed, no question. Bro was on murder business twice and has extra powers now? And has already broken out of prison once? Firing squad this guy.

Coulda done a thing where she visits w/e grave they threw him in and then she realizes that she can only find so much closure that way. Or maybe she manages to talk to him before his execution. iunno.
