Bucky Barnes isn't doing well after the Void incident, and he doesn't want help. You have been tasked with repairing a man who doesn’t believe he can be fixed. By day, it's silence, resentment, and anger. But when night falls, you two have to battle his nightmares. Together, or not at all.
This is a Dreamwalker!Reader insert fic. I will be posting twice a day, at 8am and 8pm EST.
Trigger Warnings: ANGST (with a happy ending); Reader Insert Series ("you"); void-level Bucky trauma (being the winter soldier, the chair, Steve, the people he's killed); Reader goes through some shit (like the chair). I'm honestly not yet sure if there will be smut in this. And if there is, I'm not sure if it will be in the Day or the Night portion.
Author's Note: I had this idea back in September and thought, what an interesting idea, to have a night and day dichotomy, post it in real time, twice a day. Wouldn't that be a great idea for an event?! Well, I didn't think about how much work it would be. And it is. But I think it's worth it. Let's see if we can heal our favorite super soldier, shall we?

I saw that Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker was a prequel, so I played that first before now starting to play Tavern Talk, and I'm glad I did. I'm sure the easter eggs in the other direction would be just as fun, but the gasp I gusped when I first got to the drink making nook in Tavern Talk, saw Andu, and realized who I was—literally so fun and exciting
