Scene from book 3 of Warlock Holmes - My Grave Ritual.
Warlock is such a sweet little cutie, but sometimes he says CONCERNING SHIT with no followup. 👀👏
Self Publishing Review just reviewed my book and omg I cannot even process how flattering it is. I was saying to my roommate just the other night that if I had the ratio of hits:comments on a fic as I do purchases:reviews on my book I'd be fucking ecstatic, I've been so lucky with how well it's been received. But this is like, an actual professional review on a site that certainly doesn't give every book a 5 star!
Like holy shit, I didn't know I was a irrefutably savage writer! I literally couldn't have asked for a more lovely review and it means so much to get this kind of recognition from a professional reviewer.
And good news! My ebook is free on my website, Kobo and possibly other places until the 21st of December!
Ratings/reviews always always appreciated, you have no idea how helpful they are!
Three awesome books by Baroque Forrest:
Boxes is a grimdark descent through a labyrinth of strange and quite satirical horrors with a few people who deserve a better fate.
Tales From A Mall cranks up the absurdity and the humor to their maximum for an Invader-Zim-worthy farce of corporate hell, runaway consumerism, and rat vorticies.
Rabbit Hunt is Forrest's best and most stunning work yet, beyond dark and emotionally powerful, this is a world built on absolute nightmare and the world-building is as good as it gets.
Whichever way you go, you will find something quite unlike the mainstream or anything it will likely ever have the guts to offer.
Thank you to Del Rey Books for giving me an e-arc of Katherine Arden’s The Unicorn Hunters. I adored it so much. Anne of Brittany is a force to be reckoned with. If you love fantasy stories with a mix of real life history, cats that can walk between realms, and of course, unicorns, pick this book up right now.
