a commission for the ARPG Primeval-Age's of banner art for the game's info page on utahraptors, featuring some of the original utah starter imports! this has been a long time coming, and was maybe a little too overambitious on my part. i don't think i've ever done such an extensive painted cityscape before with as many pieces and components as this, and throwing in the strong lighting scenario that i wanted to play with, it was a hell of a task that i set for myself
i'm really pleased with how it came out considering how infrequently i actually work with these sorts of environments. it was an interesting but really satisfying challenge to figure out how some of the reflections might work and how i could get the effect that i was looking for
there's some things that i might do differently next time i do something like this but with my current skill and knowledge, i'm more than satisfied with this being the official banner for the species in a game that i've spent 7 years of my life playing lol
