i say this with love, but Jester and Veth's friendship really does have the energy of two bi best friends who have absolutely had lesbian sex at some point but neither realizes it because Veth has 1000 layers of "farm girl married straight out of high school" heteronormativity complexes running that would come crashing down and shatter her sense of self if you told her it did, in fact, count.
