Jonathan getting an iPad with a bunch of library and reading apps on it as a gift from his partner, and instantly hating the thing. The screen is cold, there's a weird "clean" texture and the one button is still too confusing
BUT he perseveres into learning how to use it properly, perhaps with help, and eventually loves the myriad of reading material at his fingertips. He can look up his own scientific papers. He can browse the whole gotham library system while sitting in his lazy-boy recliner. He now can read ANYTHING he wants.
