your usual texts with martin were silly and heart warming, always reminding him to take breaks, talking about how much you miss eachother. it was typical young love stuff, except, he was a famous idol — one under HYBE at that. it was tough to keep your relationship a total secret, not even being able to tell your closest friends or family. they'd ask who? you're not allowed to say, the risk of the word spreading was too high. so you didn't say a word, pretending you had no desire for a relationship.
so in an insane monopoly move the big 4 kpop companies have now joined to make their own coachella called “phenomenon” starting in korea 2027 (apparently going global later in 2028) and someone said this lmao
jest aside this has to tick a lot of boxes to be good/safe/issue-free/fan- and small artist-friendly instead of an overpriced lip-syncing kcon rebrand catastrophe that boybossed too close to the sun.
the fandom reaction has been lukewarm to negative on twitter all around. someone said the sound guys couldn’t even get one idol (taemin) right at coachella so how are they gonna pull this off with several artists at once while organizing everything from scratch with bad PR 😅
it has one perk and that’s money not going into the pocket of the highly problematic coachella billionaire owner (as if k-pop ceos are any better, i know), but it’s really giving big fish tries to eat bigger fish 😩

i just wanna come on here and speak out about this situation with belift and heeseung leaving enhypen. please read and comment if you have any opinions on this.
i have been an engene since manifesto era, enhypen pulled me out of my darkest times. that being said, i completely support heeseung and the enhypen members with whatever their futures hold for them, including future activities, music, contracts, etc.
i'm honestly so furious and so overwhelmed. i've never seen a fandom be so ignorant and delusional when it comes to their idols.
engenes all over the world have decided to dissect and investigate every single word spoken in heeseungs and belifts statements whilst deeming them uncredible, they've shared rumors about heeseung in the building and screenshots of "unofficial" statements made by people with "official" statuses like jungwon on weverse and yuki from an anonymous account on twitter, they’ve started to fully BOYCOT enhypen and their promotions/activities, etc.
WHY ARE WE BELIEVING EVERY THING WE SEE. this is absolutely NOT how we should be sharing our support.

synopsis : being close friends with juhoon is normal, as normal as breathing to you. until the rumors… and the misinterpreted headline. but maybe it wasn’t a bad thing after all.

you always knew that being the only girl in cortis meant everything you did got watched a little more closely—by cameras, by staff, by people online who zoomed into screenshots like detectives who had nothing better to do.
still, you never thought anyone would care about you and juhoon.
mostly because you and juhoon barely talked when you debuted. you were the maknae, you were shy, he was older, he was shy, and the group already had loud combinations that the company pushed for content. you two sort of… existed near each other like matching puzzle pieces no one had bothered to put together yet.
