Dark English Electric LIGHTNING is dark even in broad South Africa daylight.
(Thunder City was an aircraft operating and maintenance company based at the Cape Town International Airport in Cape Town, South Africa. They had a fleet of cold-war-era jets including 3 Lightnings and several Blackburn Buccaneers and Hawker Hunters. Following a fatal accident in 2009 in which a Lightning (not this one, sister aircraft registration ZU-BEX) crashed at an airshow, the company suspended operations and the aircraft were sold off. )
