Hi there! Nice to meet you!

Well hello there! Welcome to my blog! I'm suchusoid! But please, call me suchu!

I've decided to finally make a little introduction post for some of you to get to know a little bit about me, and also to lay down some ground rules for my blog!

This is my sona! He's a reptoid alien that is also a darkstalkers oc!

Now lemme tell you a little about me!

-big into nerd and geek culture. I nerd out about a my interests a lot.

-I'm a big zoology enthusiast, especially anout reptiles and amphibians!

-I'm an empath, and a pretty emotional one at that.

-I can be pretty critical. It helps me have an outlet for rage and frustration, and plus, scrutiny is an important thing in media.

-I make a lot of ocs! I'm pretty up to my neck in them lol.

-I'm the current admin of the mha Criticizers/Rewriters community!

-recent become a self/yumeshipper! My f/o is hsien-ko from darkstalkers. I'm absolutely bananas over her it's almost comical.

-I'm a bit...jumpy. dealing with paranoia, moral ocd, and social anxiety. So apologies in advance if I ever seem to freak out iver something small.

-I like superheroes! In fact I currently have my own superhero story in the works!

-currebtly making my own spider-man au called "the weird n wonderful spider-man"

-have other rewrites and such in the works too like "fnaf 87"

-staunch atheist, always have been, always will be, I'm very critical of organized religion and how it's been consistantly used as a tool of oppression and subjugation.

-I actually have my own discord server! It's mainly a little hangout zone fir me and the other members to talk about our interests, share our critiques, or even just let out our feelings. New member are always welcome!

Having the book is something else because rereading in my later years it really just has these animals attacking humans and animals in brtual ways. Like one has a Congerl Eel gets it head sliced off (show all the blood and stuff) and then the head biting the guy ont he arm (you know automatic reaction like lizards tails moving when not connected) as the body writhes in the background

Thats kind of the whole selling point of this particular series of cards(nightmares of nature) focusing on the scarier and more gruesome parts of nature

i hate how much ai has taken the joy out of seeing something cool. you used to see something cool, like a really intricate drawing or a video of someone doing an insane skill or two animals doing something cute, and because there were no mental gymnastics involved in discerning whether or not it was 'real' you could sit there and have the joy of like, "wow! how did they do that! how cool is it that they made that! what a wonderful moment to have captured!" and now every time i see something remarkable i hate that i have to sit there and be like okay let me go frame by frame to make sure everything lines up. let me double check the page this comes from. let me scroll through the comments to make sure no one called out something i missed. like i want the joy of being able to trust someone else's creation back, please

An all nighter at oscorp: a spider-man horror game au

Okay, the wwverse is my primary spider man au, but I another in mind with a...different route in mind.

This is basically a concept for a spider-man horror game inspired by metroid fusion.

Basically, spider-man is imvesitagting oscorpnafter the facility mysteriously went into lockdown.

Now he has to find a way to survive the mutated monsters and abominations that are running rampant in the facility, get to the bottom of who caused this whole mess, and find a way to make it out of this corporate house of horrors in one piece. All with the help of a strange alien symbiote the escaped containment in oscorp.

So what do you guys think? Any questions?

Can we be nicer to people who are on the aro/ace spectrum who aren’t aroace please? I hope it's just a coincidence but with the recent stuff it sure does raise questions for me. Did Gooseworx mean anything by this? Hopefully not

There is a conversation to be had about a desire of proximity to Whiteness (that can be had about every nonblack group), and how white supremacy pushes the idea of the model minority as one of many ways to push our groups apart. But "functionally white"? No. Can't agree with you on this one.

hmmm, characters with lots of tattoos. I don't necessarily think it's underrated in fan spaces but I don't see a lot of it in actual media and I'd love to see more of it

also weird/uneaven amounts of bodyparts (be it more or less than the default 4)

Oh uh...I kinda meant specific characters with. Designs you think are underrated, my bad.

In which, the character in question for me is the lizard from the ultimate marvel universe

Easily my favorite design for the lizard. I especially love that be's a combination of different lizards, I can see some basilisk, iguana, monitor, and gecko in this design and I love it. Also like his purplish bkue tint, and his smaller sleeker design.

Sadly, this design isn't particularly well known or popular. It only showed up for one comic, and the only adaptations of it are from spider-man the new animated series and marvel ultimate alliance. Real shame to see such a wonderful design be so forgotten.

But going back to design archetypes like your answer, I gotta say, I've got a real fondness for animals character designs that use display parts as replacements for hair, you know, crests, barbels, frills, waddles, etc. Feels way more creative that just slapping a wig on them.
