Sometimes “locking in” looks like sitting in the sun and remembering that your life is also meant to be lived, not just optimized, monetized, and turned into proof that you’re worthy.

an abusive relationship will take you, over 'n over again, to the funeral of your inner child, u start hating who you are, and all your energy, your health, your money, your peace, goes into someone who just drains you. And coming back from that takes a long time.

It's like everything is so important but nothing matters. It shouldn't be taken so lightly to be here but don't be too serious about it. It's just for a minute and then it's done. It's August and I don't know how many I've lived and how many I have to go

my constant dilemma is between caring too much or not caring enough!!!!

God is truly amazing. he has a way of coming through for me in the very last hour. reminding me that his timing is always better than mine. i am so grateful because he continues to give me not always what i want, but exactly what i need, even when i don’t understand it in the moment. i am grateful for every change, every closed door, every betrayal, every redirection, and every unexpected turn because i know none of it is wasted. what i thought was rejection was protection. what i thought was a loss was actually redirection, and what hurt me was sometimes the very thing God used to move me closer to where i was meant to be. i thank God for removing what was never meant to stay, revealing what i needed to see, and guiding my steps even when i couldn’t see the whole path. i trust him deeply because time and time again, he has proven that everything he does is for my good. God has never failed me, and i know he never will.
