me n my sibling (both of us 20+ years old) watched spongebob together (we watched bubblestand and ripped pants!) while we ate breakfast this morning and it was a lovely and joyous experience

Sorry for this extremely late reply to the musical ask (I'm not that anon I just noticed nobody answered you when you asked if it was good) amd I think yes you should absolutely watch it!! It's so fun!! I've never seen a stage musical so creative with its props and practical effects. (I personally love how they did squid's legs!) The spongebob humor is still very present and absolutely delightful. The actors all did a fantastic job and you can tell they're having so much fun! And of course the songs are great too! Bikini Bottom Day is a fantastic opening number I listen to it all the time. So yes as a fellow spongebober I highly recommend it :3
