hey i started a fic, gen, m/m, mature, without any specific warnings but im planning to get a bit extreme with coming chapters. this is a re-write, for now there's my word and the first chapter, out of four.

#rewritten the first chapter a little to add more context and make its pacing match with upcoming ones #AND dropped the stupid plot. im sorry i forgot that it is highly irrelevant besides being a cover #for the coincidence which made them meet each other.#kinda playing off the fact that the pairing itself was born out of the coincidence lol #will highly appreciate any feedback btw #i think i could do better and at the same time. last time i did some conscious writing was. um. ages ago.#why putting words together is hard as hell...

"chewable" has got to be one of my all time favourite words for things like books and stories and themes because it completely does away with the framework of "good" or "bad" etc wrt a work and focuses instead on the amount of visceral desire it inspires in you to put it in your mouth and move it around and feel and taste it and work at it with your teeth for a long time like a dog. there's something there to get at and chew on there's substance you can work on and gnaw at. which is much more aligned to my experience of a piece of literature (e.g.) being "interesting" to me than words like "good" or "meaningful" or whatever ever have been

and this time it's the actual plot outline, all sorted and without fucking around for basically nothing. and now i know what i am doing

#compared to previous outline where i didnt lol. but there are some helpful notes #writing is hard... the hardest part for me now is to understand what i want. and what im gonna do about it. and how.#and ive found a theme which makes writing in obsidian not only bearable but enjoyable even. huge day for me. writing on sites sucks ass #DID something meaningful. happi now

#they're waiting 2 years now and if they'll gonna wait more. my squids im so sowwy... luck is my weak side...

i did this right after i've completed lunacid (both games) and forgot to post it lol. nice game, i liked it. not quite what i was hoping it will be, but also not something i was afraid it will be.

#i didn't quite like it on my first playthrough but the second one did it. i think it's more because of the choices i made on the second #and skill points investment lol. and well i by that time i knew that there's nothing really catching (for me) in the first two thirds of ->#-> the game besides vibes and side quests. vibes are awesome by the way #hard difficulty ABSOLUTELY sucks in the first two-three hours but after you've come past the prologue location it becomes more manageable #and if you do side quests and look in the corners on the map it basically becomes non-issue #but first few hours on it are abysmal. and hitboxes are acting weird #but that's in general. on hard it's just easier to notice. and well it does make the game longer #but imo it also makes encounters worth more. as well as expendable items #i wish i could live in fungus islands. fungus islands are my favorite #hallowshire too i guess #the game is chill. i recommend it
