It was Monday morning at last, about twenty minutes after eight, and Cam had just left. Though, I’d been up for a while, since I had to make breakfast for him. I didn’t mind, because I was too anxious to sleep anyway. I was finally about to get out of this depressing ass house for a little bit. And Mike was never boring, so I knew it was about to be a good time. Plus, I was so ready to see him. I don't know why, but this particular stretch had felt much longer than all the others. I was on the way to go pack my bag when I decided to mess with him first. I grabbed my phone ready to send a text, but I already had a notification from him. 

Mike: Get up. I’m in route, on my way to you

It had only been there for one minute. I guess we both had the idea to play this morning. 

Jade: yessss 🙌🏿 please come get me!

I walked out into the living room with my Pre-Calc book, notebook, and TI-84 calculator stacked on my arm, hoping he wasn’t too upset. “I'm so, so sorry about that. It won't happen again.”

“It’s fine. You're my last session today.”

“Ok, but I just want you to know. I'm usually very punctual.”

“I understand," he said, taking a notebook and a TI-89 from his bag. "Alright, so what is it that you’re having trouble with?”

“Um, can we start with domain and range?”
