im sorry i cannot be content with this finale. the duffer brothers have said in interviews that many things happened off-screen: dustin breaking up with his gf, vecna is hop's old classmate in hs, the reason why the demogorgons weren't there, etc. it seems a whole lot like they're expecting the fanbase to actually write the finale. there's a difference where there is room for interpretation and fans can take it different ways creatively, and just making everything open ended and the fans are just confused about what the finale accomplished in the first place. again, i'm not a writer, but it does not make sense to me. why is everything open ended?
im no writer, im not an artist(except for cooking, but even that is iffy). but there is an art to how you finish things. i am way better at intros than i am at conclusions. im gonna use dexter as an example. one of the highest rated shows, but terrible finale. absolutely terrible. so terrible it had multiple spinoffs and sequels to somehow fix how mad it made the fanbase. it is so easy to start plotlines and narratives in your show but very difficult to wrap them all neatly. what you cannot afford to do is decide not to wrap up a vast majority of them. this happens with multiple shows, but with all the backlash(half liked the finale, half really disliked it. it's rated a 7.9, which is really low for a st episode) on the st finale, i thought i would speak on it.
Probably the last time I'm ever going to mention this because I feel gross and pissed off and exhausted even mentioning him, but Nick Fuentes is a piece of shit human being who isn't an ally or a friend to the right. He's a vile, Stalin-loving, Jew-hating grifter who only cares about getting as much attention and money as he can and is fine with burning not just MAGA, but the entire right down around him. It doesn't matter if he occasionally says the right things. He and the people like him, the Candace Owenses and the Tucker Carlsons, are poison pills to everything we've accomplished over the last ten years. If the right embraces them and makes them the future of conservatism, then the right will die. More than that, it will deserve to die.
The right must support the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the teachings of the Enlightenment, western civilization, and the sacred human rights of the individual. Anything less is just a watered down version of modern leftism.
