It's been awhile, so time to plug again:

Hey! You should check out my webcomic Riverine!

It's about Brooke, a closeted trans girl who gets the power to control water after being in the right place at the wrong time. Now she has to navigate multiple identities: being out to her friends as her true self, staying closeted to her transphobic parents, and her vigilante efforts. And of course, the problems plaguing her city, from small-time criminals, to organized crime*, to billionaires.

And that doesn't even include the secret government faction looming in the shadows...

It's on:

The comic is still fairly early on in its development: I'm expecting it to take 10-15 years to finish. But it's constantly updated and my art's slowly getting better and better as I figure things out.

If you gave it a shot or shared it with someone who you think would like it, that'd mean a lot to me!

*we aren't there quite yet...but we will someday ;P

I got a new ita bag that fits way more pins than my old one did...my personality (somewhat) distilled. (I need to get like, a star wars pin or something)

hello, may i suggest my webcomic Riverine. it is about a young trans woman who gets the power to control water and decides to become the world's first and only superhero.

the story focuses on her dealing with threats to her city, learning more about the secret federal government faction controlling things behind the scenes (that also developed the substance that gave her her powers), and also staying closeted from her transphobic parents.

as of this posting it has over 350 pages. and it updates at least twice a week usually, and will for the next decade...ish. probably longer.

also it's my birthday read my thing it is a legal obligation. beam brooke hyde directly into your eyeballs

awhile ago I started conceptualizing individuals of other elemental powers in addition to Brooke and Riley. I haven't drawn anything for the other 7 beyond this here but I do like thinking about them.

Someday I will get around to fleshing them out more. Brooke comes first though.

(ftr these are not characters who would appear in the world of Riverine)

...they are all trans tho.

(Also I did change Time to be Force, referring to natural ones like gravity and stuff)
