And happy pride from yesterday's Budapest Pride babes!! ππ³οΈβπ
It's still crazy how different everything is compared to last year's one! Like our brand new PM protecting us in the Parliament when last year our old fuckass PM tried to ban pride. He did not succeed (it ended up being the biggest one ever) but still it's like waking up from a really bad nightmare.
So ngl life's pretty good these days. β¨
So I've been around the world a little bit
(Osaka - Nara - Tokyo - Fujikawaguckiko - Seoul)
But I'm back and ready to dive back into fanarting hope y'all are still here too β¨
Also I've watched Kimnporshe for the first time (don't ask me why I've waited so much to see it) and started Shine and they're both super good bls so you'll probably be seeing some content about that too here in the future πΆβπ«οΈ
I'm scheduling the Hollanov office affair post for you guys for Saturday cuz I'll be on a 12hr flight to Japan but I can't have y'all starving here ππ»ββοΈ
So enjoy when it appears ππ»
Do you have an headcanons for Shane and Ilya as parents?
Oh I've been waiting for this one!! Haha
Shane's definitely the one doing the girls hair before school and especially before Ivy's figure skating events. (He started learning how to do some extras on Ilya when the girls were too small for any hair stuff). Ilya tries sometimes too and he's getting better every day.
They're the loudest when it comes to being supportive parents on their girls hockey and figure skating events. And they have the Hollander-Rozanov jerseys on. First row fans!
Ilya's the one teaching them how to ride bikes. Shane usually watches them from the window. (Worrying more about Ilya getting hit by the girls.)
Ilya is the math teaching dad while Shane is the one teaching them grammar (even Russian sometimes).
Both of them can become super worried about their girls when they don't pick up their phones or answer texts.
When they're babies both take time off from playing but they still go to Centaurs matches bringing the girls along too when they're old enough to be in crowds. (The fans always LOVE seeing them.) They eventually go back when the girls are older but after a few years they actually retire.
It's Shane who packes the lunches for school. When Ilya have to do it it can easily become a disaster. (But he tires anyways and Shane let's him for time to time.)
They both call Yuna when they're unsure about something regarding the girls and just about parenting in general but they keep this a secret from each other until Yuna exposes them at one Christmas dinner.
Ilya loves to pick out outfits for them. Sometimes even matching ones (usually Shane start a small argument about how they're not twins and this will just confuse them). But Ilya always convinces Shane with the obvious fact that it would be a waste to not let the whole world see how cute their girls are and the color is not even the same so it'll be fine.
They try to keep the girls in their bedrooms and getting them used to sleeping there. But Ivy and Rina usually end up waking up in their dads bedroom for a couple of years.
Shane reads for them before bed on every second day of the week and Ilya on the other half of the week (Rina ends up correcting his Papa after she starts elementary school).
Ilya becomes an even bigger softie after he sees his baby Rina the first time (he cries more than Shane). And the same happens after meeting Ivy.
When the girls are just small babies both time Ilya volunteers to take the night shifts almost every night. One night Shane finds him leaning over Rina's crib. Rina holding his pinky while Ilya hums a Russian folk song for his daughter to fall asleep.
That's it for now but I'll definitely add some more to this one too ππ»
