Do employers know that employees are actually reusable if you let them rest? Like if you don't use them up completely all at once, and give them time to rest and recover before the next work day, they just kinda grow back? That's how they used to do it back in the day, you could hire five people to do five people's workload, and then keep the same five people for 40 years without issue, instead of having 2-3 people doing five people's work and have to constantly keep looking for replacements since you keep running them to the ground, completely using up like 10-20 employees per year.
We still have access to all the same technology and materials that they were using back in the day. Literally nothing requires us to operate the way things work now.

love when an absolute nightmare of a character is introduced and all you can think is "jesus christ buddy what the hell is your problem" and the narrative gives you a hot minute to stew before explaining Exactly what is Their Problem. and you just sorta sit back in your metaphorical rocking chair and think "huh. yeah okay fair. that would do this to a person, yes."
i love when the people of this website log on to reveal themselves as people whose understanding of gay and trans people is solely distilled through social media and blogging and never actually going to a place in real life. you'll point out that trans women and trans men have been and will continue to be in homosexual men's and women's spaces respectively for very obvious-if-you-have-a-brain reasons and they'll just say that all those people must hate themselves
