A Balcony View to Mount Rainier at the Paradise Inn (Black & White) by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: During my first visit and stay as a Paradise Inn a few years ago, I used to walk down the hall and soak in the views of Mount Rainier from the many balcony/windows along this hallway. During the three days that I stayed there September 2015, I couldn’t help but open up a balcony window and soak in those same views, especially with the blue skies all around. For this image, I worked to include as much of the peaks of Mount Rainier off in the distance as I could while still bringing in that foreground portion with the Paradise Inn. Well, that’s the story behind this image. I later converted to Black & White with Capture NX2 as it brought out a better tonal contrast especially on the mountainside.
