A redesign of my ponysona!!! Their previous design was made when I was 15 and I just felt like my design tastes (as well as myself) had outgrown them a bit. My ultimate fave colour rn is purple and there was no purple on their og design.... so now they're fully purple!
I still need a name 🥲 I struggle so much with names especially with characters that are supposed to represent me
I find simplistic pony designs really endearing so I made a couple
Their names are Leaf and Moonbow :)
I was experimenting with a slightly different style here too! I've noticed that my regular art style has become a lot more detailed recently so I wanted something simpler thats quicker and easier to draw when I don't feel like drawing something more complex. A chibi style I guess? I wanted to try creating a mix between the FiM show style and my regular art style; I was heavily inspired by the g4 concept art where Lauren Faust drew the ponies super pointy!

I wanted to explore different relationships that might have developed off screen when the CMC are teenagers/young adults, because obviously they don't have any romantic interests while they're kids in the show. I'm very thankful for that actually!

First of all thank you so much🥲💜💜 I did not think anyone would care so this is very sweet.
Anyway! I have a couple of ideas however I haven't got around to drawing most of them yet. I think they would still be best friends even with wildly different life experiences and challenges. I just think they're very sweet and they're probably my favourites at the moment.
Here's their adult designs (not too different to their filly designs but whatever - you get to see Lovebug's cutie mark for the first time!) and something I kind of quickly drew that goes into a bit of detail about Starswirl's struggles with being considered royalty whilst being an earth pony and what that means to her.
For context on "the spell" she talks about - I like to imagine that all ponies who cannot reproduce typically for whatever reason (e.g same sex couples) use magic to conceive their babies. Just like with any other form of conception, there's going to be defects; Starswirl being an earth pony is one of them.

My ponysona throughout different MLP generations!!! I spent 2 days straight on this and drew it all by hand without tracing or using bases or anything and imo they all look quite accurate I am so proud of myself
It might seem strange that I left out g1.5 and g4.5 but still drew g3.5; it's just because I really like the g3.5 style and It's fun to draw/replicate :P and also because it's one of my favourite gens.
I also just used the TYT art style for g5 because I couldn't figure out how to accurately make the 3D style look good in 2D.
Seasprayyyy !!!!!!! Terraloo son :D I really like this ship I like to imagine they became close friends over time as Scootaloo kept coming back to visit and then they eventually fall in love when they're a bit older and it's beautiful... I love Terramar I really wish we saw more of him
