might delete this because it might just be cope but i can see how the scene was intended to be claudia attempting to hurt louis, it (like most of tvl) just didnt fucking land because lestat was exonerated at the same time. theyre attempting to critique the notion that louis killing bruce being something claudia would have wanted, which is something ive previously said they should do (notably only said before I watched it and was hit by the vile description and the lesdaughter slop they attempted). i just cant accept that this is the same show making claudia say that she hates louis more than her rapist because that just isnt true ? I mean they retconned the train scene sure but are they really going to contradict the dynamic of the leads that they've built for 2 seasons already?
everyone already said this but it just doesnt add up, louis bringing up gabriella after, smiling as if its all fine, is it a front? did they intend to show such a disconnect? this reads as an attempt to gather up the remnants of loustat we still have after lestat has consistently egregiously insulted louis through sad fandomslop where louis mothers him. I mean ive already seen people compare how louis reacted to him throwing up to how gabriella handled his panic attack. is this what the show has become??are they setting up having loustat bring her back And madeleine. Finally saving her and making her happy 🥺 aww their daughter their baby. or is it just the season of claudia gore
essentially. it hurts a lot more to think of how parts of the scene could Work if not done the way it was done and not followed up with ship fan service. the non diegetic. i see myself in that scene because god In the heat of the moment I might say that!
