@outromoonyy

Lily Evans and Sirius Black lover.

(Finally doing this intro thing after ages)

Hello I'm Sandy ♡

She/her

My other account I lost because I'm stupid: @outromoony

♡Marauders♡

OTP: Wolfstar but I'm a multishipper.

My fics:

Melody of Wildflower Honey (330k. WIP) Wolfstar. Get-together/second chance fic told in two timelines: Sirius's POV in the past, when they fell in love as teenagers at a boarding school, and Remus's POV in the present, six years after they broke apart. Now Sirius is chasing his dream of being a singer, and his songs may or may not all be about Remus.

Die With A Smile (6.4k, WIP) Wolfstar. Post apocalyptic/Dystopian AU. A story of survival and falling in love at the end of the world.

Forgive me Peter (is it something I did?) (2k) short Peter-centric marauders canon-compliant fic. A story about fear, inadequacy, and the tragedy of the boy who just wanted to be someone's first choice.

My ao3

No ship wars, racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any type of discrimination allowed.

"We're basically soulmates, aren't we?" James asked the ceiling.

"Obviously," Sirius agreed lazily. He was sprawled on his back on the carpet of James's bedroom, tossing a Galleon in the air and catching it.

"Do you think..." James hesitated, shifting on his mattress and hanging his upper body off the edge so he could look down at Sirius upside down. "Do you think if one of us had been a girl, we'd have ended up together?"

Sirius caught the coin and closed his fingers around it, letting his hand rest on his chest. He didn't hesitate. "Yeah."

"Yeah?"

"I'd definitely want to be the girl, though."

James snorted, grinning. "Why's that?"

Sirius stopped moving. He looked up, meeting James's upside-down gaze. He is so beautiful, James couldn't help but think.

"Because I wouldn't want you to be any different."

James's smile faltered. He searched Sirius's face for the grin that usually followed one of his ridiculous comments, but it never came. Instead, there was only that unwavering look in his grey eyes, so open and certain that James felt something inside him shift.

"Sirius," James managed to mumble.

Sirius pushed himself up off the floor and flopped onto the bed beside him, as if he hadn't just turned James's world upside down.

"Anyway," he said. "Move over."

And James did, making room without thinking, even as he wondered whether Sirius had any idea what he'd just done to him.

"Did you just call me your boyfriend?"

Sirius's eyes widened, looking so startled he almost dropped the two coffees he had just ordered. "What? No."

"You did. You said 'my boyfriend' in remarkably clear Korean."

"I said roommate, Moony. The pronunciation is tricky, you don't even—"

"I know the word for boyfriend," Remus interrupted, his voice flat as they stepped away from the register. "I’ve been practicing Hangul for a year for this trip. I also know the word for 'grumpy,' which you added right at the end."

Sirius’s ears went red, but he stubbornly shoved the cup at Remus's chest. "I needed her to understand why I was ordering something with enough ginger to kill a horse. We're in a foreign country, the language barrier is an issue, context is important."

"I'm not your boyfriend."

Sirius stopped, and then turned fully, taking a deliberate half-step into Remus’s space, crowding him back just a fraction of an inch against the wood of the counter.

"No?" Sirius murmured, his voice dropping so low it vibrated just between them. "Are you sure about that?"

Remus swallowed, suddenly nervous. "Sirius—"

"Because I haven't slept in my own bed in years. I know your exact coffee order in a language I can barely speak," Sirius whispered, his eyes flicking down to Remus's mouth before slowly dragging back up. "And you let me corner you like this, and I can feel your heart beating out of your chest. So if I'm not your boyfriend, Moony... do you want to tell me what exactly we're doing?"

And Remus couldn't decide which was more terrifying: the question itself or how badly he wanted to answer it.

Was it casual when Grant was Remus's first kiss? Was it casual when the voice in Remus's head sounded a little too much like Grant's? Was it casual when Remus was the first person who ever went looking for Grant? Was it casual when they wrote each other letters all the time? Was it casual when they spent twelve years together and built a home with each other? Was it casual when Grant felt Remus's death before he even knew? Was it casual when Grant recognized Remus's son? Was it casual, really?

"Are you family?"

"Yes," Remus gasped, slapping his hands on the hospital reception desk. "I'm his husband. Remus Lupin."

Behind him, James and Peter slammed to a halt.

"His what?" James choked out.

Remus didn't even look back, already taking the visitor pass from the nurse. "Thank you. Room four?"

"Down the hall to the left," she smiled.

Remus started walking fast. James jogged to catch up, grabbing his elbow. "Remus… husband? What the fuck? Did I miss something?"

"They only let spouses in before noon," Remus said, not breaking his stride. "We updated each other's emergency files last year."

"You… you committed medical fraud?"

"It's not fraud, it's…. Look, it just makes things easier."

"Right. Of course," Peter muttered to James. "Of fucking course.”

They found Sirius sitting on the edge of a hospital bed, his arm strapped into a sling. He lit up the second he saw them.

"Moony!" Sirius whined, reaching his good hand out. "They took my jacket. You have to track it down before they ruin it."

Remus immediately stepped right between Sirius's knees, automatically reaching out to adjust the strap of the sling so it stopped rubbing against Sirius's neck. "I'll find it. Are you in pain?"

"Just my pride," Sirius mumbled. He leaned his chin against Remus’s stomach and closed his eyes with a content sigh.

James stared at them. He looked at Remus, whose hands were currently busy gently checking the back of Sirius's head for bumps, and then at Sirius, who was nuzzling into Remus's jumper like a touch-starved kitten.

"So," James said loudly, clearing his throat. "Sirius. Remus just informed me that you two are legally wed."

"It’s easy, Prongs," Sirius answered without opening his eyes. "Spouses get a lot of privileges. It's a purely administrative marriage."

"Administrative," James repeated flatly.

"It’s a simple matter of logistics," Remus corrected simply, right as he leaned down and pressed a kiss into Sirius's hair.

Peter buried his face in his hands, looking disgusted by the sight. "They're going to adopt a child next week and claim it was just easier than getting a dog."

"I can't take it anymore," James announced to the ceiling. "I'm tying them to chairs until they crack or something. I am losing my mind."

I wonder who I would be today if I didn’t develop an obsession with fanficion when I was 11

womanizer sirius this, playboy sirius that, experienced seducer casanova sirius blah blah blah. no thank you. i want my sirius as a demisexual, blushing, nervous mess who’s only ever been with one man (remus lupin), and who lost his virginity to him after three thousand conversations about vulnerability and safety and what it actually means to want someone. because no one ever told him that wanting someone physically isn’t shameful, it isn’t dirty, it isn’t a trap or a test or something you perform to prove you’re worthy

so yeah. give me sirius who’s terrified of touch until it comes from hands that ask, over and over, “are you sure?” and mean it. give me sirius who thought intimacy meant performance until remus showed him it could mean love. give me sirius who thought he had to be a firework to be loved, only to realize that what remus stayed for was the softness he didn’t even know he was allowed to have. thank you

idgaf about mischaracterization as long as its fun. like he would not fucking say that but wouldn't it be HILARIOUS if he did

"We're going to have to do better than this."

Before Remus could ask what "this" meant, Sirius caught him by the scarf and tugged him behind one of the stone pillars overlooking the courtyard.

"The hand-holding," Sirius said under his breath. "It's lost its effect."

Remus raised an eyebrow. "Let me guess, that girl is stalking you again."

Sirius risked a glance around the pillar before ducking back again. "She's still there."

Remus leaned sideways to look.

"I don't see anyone."

"Disillusionment charm," Sirius shot back instantly. He reached out and slid both of his hands into the front pockets of Remus’s jumper, stepping in so close their chests brushed. "She's advanced. You need to look at me like you're madly in love with me so she loses hope."

Remus eyed him. He knew exactly what the shimmer of a Disillusionment charm looked like. He knew for a fact there was no invisible girl spying on them. He had known for three weeks.

But Sirius’s hands were warm inside his pockets, and the smell of him was completely short-circuiting Remus’s brain.

So he shifted his weight, slowly bringing his hands up to settle firm on Sirius’s hips.

"Alright," Remus said after a moment. "We should probably kiss then."

Sirius’s eyes widened. "What?"

"To scare her off," Remus said simply. "We should probably make it convincing."

For the first time since he'd concocted the whole ridiculous plan, Sirius seemed to run out of words.

"Yeah," he managed after a beat. "Convincing."

Remus didn't give him the chance to think twice. He leaned in and pressed their lips together. The kiss was slow at first, almost tentative, until Sirius let out a soft, startled breath and kissed him back with enough feeling to make it painfully obvious they'd both been waiting for an excuse. Sirius's fingers curled into the front of Remus's jumper, pulling him closer as the kiss deepened.

When they finally pulled apart, the chilly air rushed between them. Sirius was flushed from the cold and something else entirely, his breathing uneven as he searched Remus's face like he was trying to work out what had just happened.

After a long moment, he cleared his throat.

"...Do you think she believed us?"

Remus laughed softly, his thumb brushing absentmindedly along Sirius's jaw before it came to rest beneath his chin.

"I'm not sure," he admitted. "Might have to keep it up for a while."

"How long is 'a while'?"

Remus pretended to consider it.

"I don't know." A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Hopefully, for the rest of our lives."
