I can’t stop writing for him idk why 💔 No smut (surprising I know), gender-neutral reader.
Thinking about Aerion immediately looking for you after the trial of seven is over. He was in so, so much pain and sore all over but the only thing on his mind was finding you. He limped and nearly tripped over his feet every few steps, using the wall (whenever he isn’t falling into it) to help stabilize himself. The people he managed to slip away from soon found him leaning against a wall in a hallway.
They offered help and expressed their concerns, but of course he shooed them away and began yelling not even a second later. Aerion then started to move again after a few seconds of getting himself together. Soon he found you in your bedroom, sitting at the edge of the bed. You didn’t go to the trial of seven simply because you didn’t have the patience to watch it unfold. The moment he shoved the door open he nearly fell but stabilized himself before he could. You rolled your eyes and stood up to help him to the bed. When the door was closed and it was just the two of you, you helped him take off his armor—tossing it onto the floor and not caring what happened to it.
Aerion glared at you and let out a small huff. His angry demeanor didn’t last long, not even a full minute before he broke. “Please.”
“Please what, Aerion? What more do you want?” You sighed, holding his bloodied, beaten up face in your hand. If you didn’t you were sure his head would fall and his whole body would follow suit. His hands clawed pathetically at your body, an attempt to pull you closer to him. You obliged and wrapped your arms around him, letting him practically melt into you—letting him show a side that only you can see. “You need care.”
Aerion shook his head slowly against you. “No.”
Gods, he was irritating.
“Yes, you do. Look at you.” A mess. You thought. “You have no choice, Aerion. Afterward we can talk and I’ll make you feel better…good.” He groaned as you leaned down to press a kiss to his head before pulling away and walking to find people who can assist him.
