some lil doodles :3 neither of these came out how i wanted but since i'm already behind i just didn't have the heart to redo them ;~; my "boat" drawing is not a boat, but a ship. let's just ignore it <3

lochtober day 4: lighthouse!

hii im back, i've been a little under the weather and didn't feel well enough to sit at my desk and draw >~< so now i'm playing catch up! i really wanted to do all 31 prompts, so i'm going to try and draw a few little pieces every day until i'm back on track :3 did some alcohol marker stuff for this one ^-^ it was really fun!!

a few different artists have been participating in the drawing challenge on different social media, it's been really cool to see their stuff!! my scheme to get to see more nautical horror art for free is coming along swimmingly >:)

i'm a little behind on lochtober because i've been sick for the past couple days >~< i should be able to get going again today or tomorrow!

lochtober day 3: hadal!

listen, i know this isn't my best work, nor is it horror, but i've been a little busy and just wanted to turn my brain off this time and draw a cute magnapinna >~< they're the deepest-living cephalopods known to science! i considered drawing a snailfish, but i just love magnapinna so much.

lochtober day 2: angler!

decided to design an anglerfish-inspired character for this one :3 ironically, he's not a fisherman, but a fishmonger. i'm sure he angles for things other than fish though, he's meant to be a slasher!! should have drawn him with his big cleaver he uses to chop up fish. missed opportunity 😔🤙

i really like how anglerfish hunt with their special little lures attached to their heads, pretending to be an innocent little fishy to eat. so cool!!! how is nature so good at figuring out how to evolve creatures?! i don't think my slasher guy does a good job at appearing harmless to draw in his victims like a real anglerfish, but cut him some slack-- he doesn't have the darkness of the ocean depths to conceal his true form :/

lochtober day 1: bite!

decided to get back into using watercolors and made this little 5x7 piece ^-^ this didn't end up looking as sinister as i wanted it to, but i still really enjoyed making it and i'm proud that i was able to do it ^w^

drew some old man x evil triangle yaoi for my friend. i love gravity falls but i don't normally care about ships... despite that, this is one of my favorite things i've drawn recently and it was really fun :3 i love both of these charas and their dynamic in the show!! they are so silly and special

couldn't find an october drawing challenge that tickled my fancy this year so i made one of my own last minute! feel free to use it if u want :3 none of you are allowed to say anything if i give up halfway through. im just a creature.

i was this 🤏close to doing kloktober (metalocalypse fanart challenge), but i wanted to make some traditional stuff (in addition to digital) that i can fill my sketchbook with and maybe show at some local galleries sometime, so i decided fanart wasn't the right way to go. i still have some mtl fanart to finish up though so i'll upload it whenever it's done!! ok bye
