Juri pendant is gold. Gold is related to sun and sun is related to "masculane" energy such as protecting. Shiori is locked in gold in the order to be "protected" Juri tries to protect Shiori even from her own love. Sun brings life to earth just like how the locket brings life/hope to Juri. Sun is in the middle of solar system just like how Juris love to Shiori is in the middle of her life and character. Juri was toxic in the most caring way possiable tbh (sorry for broken english)
