There wasn't much time to come up with a plan. The dang Intern had taken a tumble down the side of the cliff and landed in the middle of the quarry. Broken their legs on the way down, and been quite lucky not to break their bone. The jaw-wagger had slid down after them, leaving the rest of the group to scramble for what to do as the serpent closed in on them. Lime hadn't even hesitated, which was new for them. They could have let the little green cretin get what for, for endangering the entire group with an ill-timed tantrum. But no. They'd caught the monster's attention and rushed off to draw it away from easier prey. They weren't sure what they hoped to accomplish in the end... The beast had them where it wanted. Dangling off a cliff, tasting near death, and taunting them with the distorted voice of the cursed doctor. Fight or flight were powerful things, and no matter how futile it was to kick and slash at the beast, Lime refused to go out without a fight...
While White tends to a downed Green, Lime keeps the Viper-Seeker's attention away from the easy targets. Unfortunately for Lime a rather vindictive Red may take the chance to get back at the monster for a previous death...
Watched the entire RTVS Endacopia streams (to the detriment of my already severely wack sleep schedule) and I have so many thoughts about the Freelance Surgeon's general alignment and what that ultimately means for Mellow...
Keeping it under read more for major spoilers of course.
And please do bare in mind a lot of this spit-balling is speculative theorising on my part from both observation, events in the game, specific pieces of dialogue/character interactions.
A group of crewmates who's lives were irrevocably ruined by MIRA negligence (some becoming Impostors in the process). They are not exactly villains, but they are also not above murder to survive and/or protect others from ending up in similar situations as them.
They set up shop at a MIRA refuel station with the goal of sabotaging ships that are a part of key missions that involve the export of alien specimens of any kind. Each target being carefully selected so as to not bring unwanted attention onto the group itself and its anti-MIRA activities.
Note: The majority of these OCs were created prior to the Among Us Show coming out, so their Humanized Forms have well established gender identities and pronouns. That said their Show Verse selves do adhere to the Crewmates's Agender physiology and use They/Them as per the canon world-building for these funky lil space beans.

Hey. I'm so sorry to have to be making this post especially after so many kind people helped me out of the first situation. But unfortunatley through really bad luck a dangerous person I've been trying to get out of my life has learned my address and I need to move. I've only have so much in funds and I'm fully was not prepared for this to happen. Not only that, but my future roommates life is also endagered by their family so we need to move kinda fast. We had a two yer plan to move out but now we have to fast track all of this and I am so scared. https://ko-fi.com/bunster
as of two day ago my future roommate was physically assaulted by their family. We need to get him out now, ive opened up emergency commissions if anyone is interested.
I'm used to being in constant financial struggle and as such rarely really complain about it because my mom and I make it work when we need it. And for the most part we clutch it.
But this of course means sometimes stupid situations happen and I can only call the vet for a quick consultation instead of being able to actually book an appointment.
The good news is everything is fine. The bad news is I am severely stressed and the 32º degree weather with yellow alert attached to it isn't helping my mood improve whatsoever.
Who is the fool now that things have gone so terribly wrong for this mismatched crew of misfits? Not the crewmate that had the good fortune of having everything until they didn't. But perhaps neither is it the crewmate who had nothing but their own justified anger to stew on. Nature is not kind. But people can be if they so choose it. And, despite how things have turned out, a lesson can be learned from this mess. Neither Green or White will ever be the same, either way...
Inevitably something snaps when the group is three deaths in. The stress and sleep deprivation gets to be too much for Green, and they simply lash out at the worst possible time and at the worst possible location.
The quarry is open to danger and tumbling down the cliff-side was a death sentence written and signed by the nature of breaking one's legs during a deadly game of cat and mouse. But the thing about this entire story's premise is that, while Green is justified in their anger over everything that's happened to everyone, White is equally justified in their spiteful response to seeing someone who disrespected them get themselves injured. They choose to help. Because the Fungle and the Skeld Crew have both taught them something fundamental that their previous life did not.
It's not that White is blameless or undeserving of a harsh reality check. And it's definitely not about excusing them for being so ignorant to the point of being a liability. It's about proving that both a refusal to learn and black and white mentality are not the way to get out of a horrible circumstance. Especially while not stuck on a jungle island with a giant killer snake that has a doctorate.

It takes a simple slip-up to destabilise the sort-of-manageable balance that they get into in regards to "dealing" with Blue's fídithropy. Well, that's not entirely true. It actually takes a series of snap decisions that culminate into a misstep of epic proportions. But the how or why of the situation don't really matter when shit hits the proverbial fan. The domino that sets everything into motion is Red forgetting to lock one side of the greenhouse where they were trying to contain Blue for the day, and Brown injuring their hand trying to get the padlock on at the last minute. A partial melting of a limb promising future troubles, even if at the time the reason for getting such a grievous wound was for nothing if not a noble and selfless cause. Of course nature rarely cares for nobility... It's tragic really. Brown had held on, in spite of their severely mangled hand, and they'd even seen another couple of days of survival. Even if they had to grit through the horrid pain they were clearly suffering with. But the greenhouse incident had been foreshadowing for just how unforgiving the world could be when you stuck out your neck for others. Orange hadn't been able to witness what happened due to having been knocked out by the pain of having their visor burn from vapours just as acidic as the projectile spray they had nearly been doused with. But the others had made sure to tell them Brown was gone. Sacrificed themselves so that they could all retrieve a badly injured Orange. Despite their opposing views, Brown had refused to let them simply die like the corporate dog they and their partner considered Orange to be. And now Orange had to live with the survivor's guilt and the helplessness that came with not knowing how to properly comfort Yellow. They had a feeling things would only get worse before they got better.
The second victim of the Viper-Seeker ends up being Brown who, days after being originally incapacitated, decided to uphold their convictions and sacrificed themselves for Orange who was blinded while trying to distract the transformed doctor.
Death by constriction isn't pretty. Feeling at a loss for words on how to comfort a co-worker-turned-tentative-frenemy isn't pretty either. Especially when there really isn't any MIRA script that Orange might know that would divert Yellow's attention away from such a fresh wound.
Surviving this is gonna be a chore for the both of them.
