My best friend, Dawn ( @hopelesslesbianblacksmith ) and I have entirely run out of funds due to unemployment and our last hope is packing up and living out of a car. We have until the end of August to be out of the house.
To even be able to do this we still need to fix our car to trade for the one in the picture. In addition we aren't able to currently afford gas and food or renewing our drivers licenses.
We're trying to sell as much of our things as possible but we're still going to need help for so much more, especially if we want to keep having water or electricity during our last month living in a house. I know it's a lot but i can't imagine feeling safe unless we're able to raise $1000

A friend of mine is flat broke, starving, and has not eaten in several days. she is a Black trans woman, and when her partner showed up to a supposed "community center" in search of support and promised food, they had security forcibly remove her due to the "inappropriate" length of her skirt. She is filing a complaint now, but unfortunately a complaint will not feed her. Please help if you can, and share if you cannot.

Help a disabled queer pay bills
Hey, it's Pluto again. So I tried out an advil cream for my chronic pain and had such a painful allergic reaction and I had to leave work 7 hours early. And that's a LOT of lost money, right before rent hits.
As the top earner for my household, it's crucial I work as much as I'm physically able, so this is gonna mess with my budget really badly. Anything helps a lot in keeping me actually functioning ;w;

the best piece of writing advice I got was from my creative nonfiction professor when I turned in Kill Yourself (a transgender metaphor, one of my favorites) which amounted to saying I'm not committing hard enough. The piece was somewhat gory and kinda painful but I wanted it to be visceral and he was literally the only one to see that. Every other person and professor would have said to make minor changes here and there but he was the one seeing I was holding back for the sake of the assignment. So, he told me to stop being scared and just write exactly what I wanted to say, to commit as hard as possible to the idea instead of testing the waters to see if im even allowed to. So I did, and he was right. The original lacked the conviction required to make the idea work, and the revision brought it to the level that truly let it shine
I won an award for this piece and I genuinely dont think I would have if I didn't get told to go harder. He was one of the only people in my life who truly just got it. A fantastic writer and story teller and part of it is that he's incredibly authentic, sometimes to his detriment.
Don't be afraid of your writing. It hurts putting your everything on display for everyone to see, but its only then when true beautiful writing can be created

Imo the people who use the "they're not written well" excuse to not enjoy female charas and yet drown random guy with hcs and interiority are ironically doing the same thing they blame the authors for. And it sucks bc i know poorly written fem charas that i hate bc of how they're done in canon yet have spent hours chatting abt them with friends because they hold so much potential! They could be fun, nuanced, tragic, etc. if only the writing allowed it! Making hcs to give them depth and patch up some of canon's less functional areas is super fun i promise. You can build a full person onto that fridged wife i believe in you
i really like your point that this excuse essentially just enables people to do the very thing they're accusing the author of doing. so much of fandom is about exploring things that you feel are missing in the source material. everyone loves to be all "this show would be so good if it were good" and "fuck canon, i can do whatever i want!" until a woman shows up, in which case she's just ontologically uninteresting and there's nothing you can do about it.
my predictions for what will happen after ralsei is eventually confirmed to be transfem in the next few chapters:
people will suddenly dig up The Baby Is You and every other thing toby ever said during the homestuck era that could be considered "problematic" and deltarune will become another "Irredeemable Media".
people will suddenly start talking about how the newest chapter probably isn't meant to be canon, and is just supposed to be an extra bonus epilogue, yknow.
people will suddenly decide that deltarune's plot actually made no sense actually, and will say ralsei being trans came from nowhere.
reddit will complain when the new chapters focus on the main characters of the game instead of the new funny meme joke theory character they collectively came up with based on like 2 peices of evidence.
people will still be theorizing about penumbra phantasm years after it was officially deconfirmed.

hi :3 im a multiply disabled 20 y/o trans girl. im moderate autistic and chronically suicidal- due to conditions out of my control. i had to drop out of high school, and in my country that makes jobs way less available- im lucky enough to work fulltime but it pays very little.
im going to get my adult leavers cert, but that requires time taken off work i cant really afford to take :/
theres a huge variety of things that would make life less painful rn- disability supports, furniture more suited to my chronic pain, etc
i know its a lot to ask, but i really need help making things less Actively Hostile to me- hopefully this is the last time i have to ask for help! things are looking up once i can afford to take the adult diploma!
