I saw seven birds, and then I made seven miis, babeyyy
I wanted to compile all the characters I've done for my hypothetical Adventure Zone platform fighter, so here's a sort of mock character select screen with the sixteen fighters I've done so far!
So far we've got eight Balance reps, four Amnesty reps, and one each from Graduation, Ethersea, Dust, and Commitment. But I've got a bunch of half-finished moveset concepts for characters from various seasons, so there's more to come!

What's this? Another Adventure Zone platform fighter moveset already? That's right, and it's none other than our denim-clad boy, Barry Bluejeans!
Barry has two forms, which we'll call Body and Lich, and his special moves have a sort of resource-management element to them, wherein the resources to be managed are the various bodies he can have at any one time.
Barry's neutral special summons a respawn tank. Used on the ground, it pops from the floor, damaging and popping foes into the air. Used in the air, it drops straight down. Using the move again causes the old one to vanish. The tank cannot be interacted with by foes.
Barry's up special will launch his Lich form from his Body in the direction held, damaging foes in his path. The Body will remain where it was, where it can't take damage, but can still be knocked about. Using his up special in Lich form will still launch him in the direction held. If launched into his Body, they'll recombine into the Body. If launched into a respawn tank, he will emerge with a new Body, destroying the respawn tank and causing any old Body to disintegrate.
Barry's side special will cause red lightning to arc between any Lich, Body, and respawn tank that are within range of each other, for as long as the button is held.
If in his Body, his down special makes him explode, damaging foes and destroying the Body, leaving behind the Lich. In Lich form, this move explodes his empty Body. If there's no Body, it explodes a respawn tank. If there is neither, the Lich releases a much weaker explosion.
Barry's finale causes Gundren Rockseeker to appear in the center of the stage, wielding the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet. A short but extremely powerful burst of fire bursts from him before he disappears. This will destroy any Bodies or respawn tanks in the blast.
Some stills from my recent animatic! A bunch more under the cut
There was a lot I could have included for “The Stolen Century” (about a century’s worth I suppose), but I thought it would be better to keep it a bit simpler for this one. I’m planning on doing one more of these for the Lunar Interludes as a whole, and then depending on how extensive the Finale is I maaaayyyyyy do one for that. We’ll see.
