TODAY'S FACT IS

Did you know that the Bastard Toadflax Bug (Canthophorus impressus) is a species of shieldbug found in much of central and western Europe? It gets its name from its affinity to the bastard toadflax plant, feeding from and mating on it. This is a rare bug, especially in southern England, where its host is also uncommon. The adults are generally fairly long lived and produce one generation per year.
