I'm doing re-read of the Tennis Club, and it got me wondering if we'll ever see any of the pics Marty has taken. In his chapter or maybe in the future?

Angling for that Hollander dick pic huh? 😏

Aside from supporting Shane in his Perfect Dick Pic pursuit, Marty's not really into photography, as a general thing. For characters that are more into photography, we might get more pics, but Marty hasn't had much to send to the main chat.

As far as the Perfect Hollander Dick Pic goes, we decided when we first started that that it would be like the brief case in pulp fiction -- the audience never gets to see it.

Anyways, hope you're jealous, here's a pic of rozanov reacting tho

i am deathly curious about the developer for the tennis club app though. like, do they actually know who the app is for? are they a friend of a founder member or just someone very well paid to say nothing?? do they have hunter's actual name and phone number or is it like a burner email situation? i know jack shit about internet security, like who owns the server where all the messages and pics are stored???

Watsonian answer: this is just a very well-paid expert with an NDA

Doylist answer: one of the first premeses I established for this fic was "what if queer players had a completely secure platform to contact each other?" and as a founding premise of the story, there aren't a lot of details around how that is true.

The developer is mick spalding, a trans guy programmer who only cares about anime from the 80s.

He’s also a furry. His fursona is a triceratops.

We have got Wyatt Russell in there, but not as Kallio! I’ve got a companion work where I list out the face claims for everyone as I post the cards. We also have the alt text in there which is occasionally fun reading.

Kallio we used Charlie Hunnam and Price is Wyatt Russell but ginger

wait i'm confused, micky was hit by two different guys? it's not you, i just haven't watched hockey in forever but i thought it wouldn't be normal for two guys to hit someone in a row? or is this rare and just due to micky being kinda an asshole people target? also does this mean micky would have been fine with only one person hitting him?

The way I drew it was the second guy kinda tripped over the first guy but also this all happened off screen! So I think it’s fair to interpret it that way if you want, but hockey has 200lb dudes zipping around on ice, accidents happen :/

I think the big differentiator is that his rib cage took all the focused impact because he was up over the half wall by the bench, not diffused over a nice flat surface.

Also if he wasn’t hungover maybe he would have done a better job catching himself, per @luulapants

Canon logos -- there were a bunch of canon teams in the show where we didn't get nice clean versions of their logos so I did my best (well, okay, like maybe 5% of my best) to trace over and clean them up. Not sure what was supposed to be above the M in mission but tacky clip art angel felt right.

I made these to be used reeeaaaaal small so I wasn't that concerned with doing a clean or accurate job. Maybe this will inspire someone else to do a better one.

Archer we agreed has a deal with bowflex. It’d be over the summer so the timing is unfortunately right for him to be clean shaven, no playoff beard.

We’ve also talked a bit about what Ilya’s brand deals would look like but I haven’t gotten that far yet. I have received the directive that an explosion must be involved.

I only just saw your Centaurs logo but I wanted to say I really like the ancient sort of angle!! I drive up to see the ATL Gladiators when I can since they're closer than other teams and it kind of reminds me of some of their themes and jerseys!

💖💖I’m glad you like it!! I really was casting about for an angle I liked on the centaurs, and it really didn’t click for me until I realized that the Ottawa senators = Roman senators lol. Which. Not sure what I thought they were getting at besides that tbh.
